At our Center Point, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

They cannot even cook a hush puppy, nor the fish. It was busy inside and in the drive-thru, which makes them think it’s ok to half cook the food, to push the people out the way. The problem is, that your employees thinks it’s ok to make the customers sick. How hard is it to follow the instructions of a timer?

Awful!! EVERYTIME I get food from this location it is always an issue!!! Even with new employees it always manages to be a problem. First big issue was a few months ago, I ordered lunch via doordash for myself and coworkers. It was suppose to be two of the ten piece family meals. They sent a 2 piece fish dinner. When I took it back to get the rest of my meal the male manager informed me that they haven’t had any doordash orders all day. Keep in mind they sent a 2 piece fish dinner via DOORDASH! So he proceeds to blame doordash. It could have been on them but you didnt accept any responsibility for anything and was very rude and nonchalant. I told him he never had to worry about me coming back. For a while I ordered from the Main street location in Trussville everything’s expeditiously delivered as well as accurate. Never had an issue with them. I decided to go back to the parkway location a few days ago since it was raining instead of going to main street, I waited an hour in the drive through line. Food was correct but the wait was ridiculous!!! Went back two days later after I placed my order online for pick up. It said come in and skip ahead my meal should be ready within 15 mins. I waited in there an hour for a pick up order. I work in the food industry and I know everyone is short staffed but it is about communication and common courtesy. I promise I will NEVER be going back to this location ever!!! Not even for a free cup of water!!! It is horrible, awful, and is a poor excuse for customer service! Main street is my new location!!

The worst place ever, had to wait 30 min on drive thru before anyone talked to me ( I was the only one there) and even though i had order my food online and had to wait 30 min i still had to wait another 15 min until they gave me my food. The workers there just don’t want to work, if this place wants to stay open they need to hire some people that care about their jobs.
