At our Fitzgerald, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Always check your food when ordering at the drive thru. They have a bad habit of not giving you everything you ordered. This last visit I ordered the supreme sampler, I only got fish and chicken no shrimp came on my dinner. Sad, I was I really wanted the shrimp.

I wish there was a way to rate the food and service separately. The service was wonderful. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The food, however, was not as good. I had chicken fingers, French fries, and okra. The chicken was hot and fresh, but the fries and okra were both lukewarm and soggy.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and hot.It takes a little bit longer than regular fast food but quality food is worth the wait. I got the ultimate seafood platter and loved every bit of it. (I’m full as a tick.) My wife got the 20 piece butterfly shrimp and she said it was perfect.
