At our Athens, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Ordered 2 Cajun meals without shrimp. Needed to be 2pc fish Cajun meals. After receiving the meals , I called the store to get the orders done over . The person on the phone keep repeating me over and over again. At this point I wasn’t going back to the store.

The location offered dine-in options, as to other once in this area it is drive-through only. I prefer not to eat my car so this option was nice. The workers there were very nice and helpful by pointing out the senior menu. The restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms. I have not eaten at Captain D’s in a while, but the pieces of fish were smaller than I remembered.

Drive through experience only. Service was quick. Order was correct. Staff was efficient and friendly. Speaker for order could use replacement. It was difficult to hear and obviously old. Ordered a 15 piece shrimp dinner and a small coke. Total was a lot over 14.00. For one person in my opinion expensive. Everything tasted okay but the macaroni and cheese leaves something to be desired.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Captain D’s, as seen in the picture the broccoli is brunt and discolored, we work too hard in this world to receive such poorly managed meals. Also, the worker have such a nasty attitude and don’t have sense to talk with courtesy and care about their customers. I’m highly disappointed and will not be returning.

Hubby stopped by and picked up 3 pc fish dinners. The fish was so burnt, it had no flake to it. They only gave 2 things of tartar sauce and of all the times you need tartar sauce today was it. Just so disappointed.

It is very dirty. I saw brown grime on the wall back in the kitchen, the floors were sticky and dirty, there was a dead bug on the floor, flies, and food splattered on the ceiling over where you order.
