A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Do Not go to Locust Grove Ga location, Food is absolutely Horrible. Taste like they are using old grease. Don’t waste your time or money. Left out part of my order after having to wait and no apologies. I will Never return–threw the food in the garbage!! Employees act clueless and have i dont care attitude. Really disappointed in Captain D’s not monitoring there restaurants?? Ridiculous!!

The fish was fresh and hot. Best green beans around. Love their corn on the cob too! And the young lady that I assume was the manager, was great! Very pleasant and helpful. Let’s go with six stars!

These people were extremely shorthanded. Three people working extremely hard to get orders out as quickly and to the correct specifications. I waited patiently for my order and it was exactly what I ordered. I appreciate the hard work of these young men and women.

Should close this location down. Sat at the window 10 minutes and then I still received the wrong order. Sent it back now the same thing happened again. I don’t even leave reviews but this is really sad.

This was supposed to be the 2 pc spicy fish…it seems refried one old oil and is not freshly fried fish. The green bean juice sloshed over into my Mac and cheese absolutely disgusting fish. The employees were giggling and laughing on intercom which can lead to distraction and not preparing customers food well.

Just look! Absolutely horrible. It doesn’t look good and I asked for a refund. I wasn’t about to even taste it. It was hard, greasy and just looked weird.

If you want high blood pressure then this is the place to go, the fish which should be the star had so much salt on it that I had to wipe it off and still it was salty. Missing items that I asked about before leaving drive thru twice made me have to come back again and customer service was horrible if you’re not happy with your job then get another one right now there are plenty jobs available especially at Tanger Outlets which is right around the corner. There’s a first and last time for everything and this place fit the bill hopefully you guys will do BETTER.
