At our Fayetteville, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Worst “SERVICE” EVER ‼️‼️‼️ Terribly disappointed & dissatisfied. I dined here for the 1st time, last week. My engagement with the young man from Africa was so very pleasant. It was about 20 min before closing & yet in-still, I didn’t feel rushed. He actually heard & was listening to my order, got it correct, the 1st time ! He was professional, had a great sense of humor & was pretty delightful all-around. So much so, that when I was contemplating eating out, I traveled nearly 25 min, to travel to this location. Not only was the cashier’s demeanor disgraceful; the food was absolutely disgusting ‼️ Don’t know how long this food was sitting out, it seems she lied too, saying that my order was cooked fresh. The fish & shrimp tasted like it had been “soaking” in oil for hours, it was under cooked & completely tasteless. Definitely the last time I make this choice. What a thorough waste of food & my $15. Little did I know, before I even submitted this review, their ratings was already extremely low. Now, I know why

Captain D’s is awesome and I would only like to see two changes. Lower sodium and lower drink prices. $2.50 for a small cup of sweet tea that cost about a quarter to make and that’s mostly ice. Really?

Stay in drive thur 30 minutes after ordering my food. Went inside to see what was going on. Only to be yelled at by the manager. People waiting in lines inside. She yelling her the only one working the front and cooking the food too. And yelling about her child was there. Very rude. The few times I went here always a long wait . Owner need to know you are really losing money.

Got the lobster rolls.. to be honest I’m from New England and although they didn’t measure up to those, they weren’t horrible. They were completely out of ketchup for fries so used cocktail sauce. Interesting but again not horrible.
