A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. Today, I was served breadsticks that have mold on them. I took them back and the young lady at the drive- thru window asked if I’d like to be compensated with Hush puppies. No apology. I told her to at least let the Cooks know to check the other bread sticks. She said ok and handed the moldy bread sticks back to me and told me I could keep them. . I said no thank you and that she could throw them away. Wow !!! ♀️ ♀️ ♀️

I purchased the Spicy fish 2 piece today. The grease was old dark and burned and the fish was re-battered. The manger Mr. Ellis was rude and disrespectful. He should not be providing any services to customers. He has poor customer service skills. I know that restaurants need employees however you really need ones that represent your band in the most positive way. It may be a good time to use secret shoppers to alert owners to the services and quality of services and food being severed.

The food was ok I do like the fact that the fries were good and hot but the shrimp was cold like it had been sitting out. Other than that it was ok I guess besides the fact I didn’t get a receipt either. I take that back I ordered the trio and got chicken not sure if it comes with chicken but I definitely don’t eat meat I’m pescatarian!

Let me explain the level of customer service I received here. The folks that were working here in 4/21/23 were definitely the A team. They were nice and friendly. Spoke to me the second I walked in the door and only had to wait as long as it took the couple in front of me to order. I received my food wicking 6 and the drive thru cashier even held small talk with me while working the window. The service was absolutely awesome. And the short guy in drive thru was really cute . I came on 4/21 at about 7 PM. There was an employee in the front smoking a cigarette and an empty drive-thru. When I reached the speaker the individual on front counter did not greet with a proper greeting, she said “can I help you?” I spoke because that’s what you’re supposed to do. I went on with my order of a kids fish and mozzarella sticks. When I got to the window she was ON THE PHONE! She still did not greet properly. My total was $10.56 I gave $10.60. I anticipated on getting my receipt but she only offered my $.04. Like I said before no one was there so any food possibly was sitting. My mozzarella sticks were hard and looked as though they had been recooked and my fries were cold. Between the food and customer service it’s enough for me to never return!
