At our Decatur, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
Fast-food chain serving fried fish & shrimp combo meals along with gumbo & funnel cakes. Based on 542 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.4 stars. Price $

The wait time was too long. Waited 25-30min. Overall the food was hot & fresh. Tip: Advise employees to reframe from touching their hair or mouth when working around food. Even if they are cashiers. I suggest hair nets. The cashier styled her hair at least 2x while we waited.

The food was great! Our first time eating Captain D’s, we both say it was worth the amount we spent, 2 orders of lobster roll combos + 10 piece shrimp on the side. It all came to $19+cents. Very much worth everything. Appreciate the fresh food that was served us.

The young woman servicing the take out window on 3/13/2023 approximately 8-9pm, was phenomenal. As my husband & I sat inside eating…I was so impressed to hear how this young woman engage with the customers & how pleasant she was.

Our first time there. Nice and clean place. The staff is very nice and efficient. They had a lot of customers, drive-thru and indoors, but they handled it well and calm. We will certainly come back to this location.

I don’t know why this location doesn’t get more business. The two times I’ve eaten there, the food was great!! Hot and fresh without a long wait. If they’d put a drink fountain out for self-service, it would be perfect.

The wait staff is good, but it’s not really fast food when it takes over 20 minutes to get your order.

Wesley Chapel in the plaza. Order at drive in window in line. About 35 to 40 min got my order got to the hospital my food looked like this fish cold they gave me 7 orka which should have been a order hush puppies stuck together tried to call number that’s on website keep saying voicemail is full. Why try to help support business if they don’t care what they give you for your hard earned money.

It didn’t make any sense how long you’re waiting in drive thru, I waited in line over 20m, instead of moving the cars up who’s order isn’t ready, they’re allowed to wait in line causing everyone else’s food to be cold. Customer service isn’t great either!

Just reopened and already not taking orders 30 minutes before closing. No thanks. Update: So I went back just to see and I got bad dry attitude and burned grease with black crumbs all over my fish. So… NO THANKS.
