A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. I don’t understand that if you know the food is old why still serve it to the customers? I’m pretty sure that the employees here at this captain D’s wouldn’t want food served to them like this or have nasty attitudes. The short girl in the front taking orders with the braids has a nasty attitude and would cut you off while you’re order hell it’s like she’s reading your mind knowing what you want before you order it. I won’t be coming here again because it’s always an issue with the food here all the time being poor just like the attitudes here. You don’t make it anywhere in life with a horrible attitude towards people for no reason whatever you have going on at home keep it at home.

My only complaint would be some of the workers, particularly the female cashier wearing the braids, glasses and kinda chunky. She was rude during my visit. She had a flat, dry tone when making fragmented, short statements. Her demeanor was not friendly or welcoming. She stated the total and as I handed her my card she proceeded to hold the card reader out and just stated the following, “want any sauces?” I replied, “No thank you”. After my payment was made, she stated, “pull up”. I pulled up to the spot and waited. She came out shortly and held the bag up while starring at me. I pulled up 2 feet be exactly next to her and she just handed me my bag and walked off. She could’ve simply walked two feet to my window and handled me the bag but she just peeked her head out around the corner of the building, looked at me, and just stood there. Non of the following common introduction phrases came out of her mouth during the whole transaction: “Hello”, “May you”, “Thank you”, “Please”. Not to mention she did not even make eye contact with me and seemingly made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. Here is some advice: Hire people who actually have experience in customer service and who do not evidently hate their job. It was visibly clear she was extremely unhappy while servicing me. Oh and the quality of the food mimicked her attitude…Poor.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times they seem to like to take your money then make you “pull up to park”. There’s only one person there that is worth mentioning. She’s a young white woman. She’s very efficient and seems to know how to run things. Everyone else leaves a lot to be desired. There was a car in front of me that cursed it the drive thru attendant because she kept being told just a minute for about 15 minutes. She eventually drove off. I waited about 40 minutes for my order because I had to. I needed food for my loved ones who were at the hospital across the street and it was late in the day. I made a complaint on the Capt. D’s website and they called the very next day and said they would work on fixing the issues there.

Go to this Captain D’s quite often, the food is absolutely delicious it’s always hot and fresh! I got the two-piece batter-dipped fish and I added two crab cakes to my order. And everything was really good. Only gave four stars because I believe they were short-staffed I’m not sure but you couldn’t place your order at the window and you had to drive around, I was there 20 minutes, during my lunch time, however everyone was still pleasant.

Customer service sucks there, no personalities what so ever. Captain D’s used to be really good not anymore, not there. The time I finally tasted the spicy fish it was lukewarm and hard, like it was refried. The person cooking in the back didn’t seem to care one way or another about the quality of his. Could it be his pay most times it is?

I was awfully disappointed with the service at this Captain D’s location. It was around 2-3pm on Wednesday. We had a party of three. Infamous coupon-two 3 piece for $9.99. Dining in for lunch. We took turns going back to counter asking about our order. We waited over an hour for meals. During our wait, I witnessed at least three orders mixed up from inside to drive thru. A gentleman in the dining area requested to see the manager .I over heard him ask her to just make his experience there better than what it was. Not exactly sure what it was she did. Nonetheless, there are plenty captain d franchises around town. I don’t plan to revisit this location. By the way, Please take pride and clean the ladies restroom, dining area and out side the facility. smh.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Great service normally. The food is most often hot… or well still fresh, warm, crispy after 27 min delivery but it boggles the mind for them not to include after requesting, malt vinegar tartar sauce cocktail ketchup eating utensils and service for a few, after spending $70 on my order. Entire meal ruined without malt vinegar.Funnel Stix terrible..extremely small serving for $4.69 with strange over microwaved texture. Once coleslaw was rotten. Please bring back Edwards or any good pecan pie.

My order was horrible. I went through the drive-thru and ordered fish. When I receive the order The fish was clearly not cooked. The batter was extremely doughy. The employee at the drive-thru window agreed with me and asked me not to tell anybody and had the order remade. The second order was still not up to par. I ended up throwing out the entire order
