At our Charlotte, NC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

DELICIOUS! That fish sandwich really hits the spot! Today I tried the coleslaw instead of fries. I really enjoy that it’s got some sweetness to it. Topped the meal off with a sweet tea. I was the only car in the drive through and got my food fast and hot! I’ll be coming back to this location for sure! Great quick seafood fix!

This Captain D’s has the worst service. Please make sure that you check your food before you leave. Today my husband went and got us 2 country fried fish plates and he didn’t check the food before leaving. When he brought me the food for my lunch the fish was crumbled up in the boxes. I called to let the manager know what happened and told her I took pictures of the plates. I told her I didn’t know when I would be able to come back to get it replaced because I work all the time. She said to keep the food and whenever I can bring it back even if it’s next week she will replace it. So, she wanted me to carry this box of crumbs home from work, put in my fridge or what not until I can return to her store to have it replaced. That makes no sense at all. So, no lunch for me and no apology from her and I guess no replacement even though I have a picture of the box and my receipt. So a loss for me

The service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, I paid over $8.00 for a lobster roll combo (odd cost considering the combo is $5.99). They gave me a kids size cup of lemonade and no fries I can only assume they kept the fries because someone on shift was hungry. Whoever made my lobster rolls burnt the bread and it look like they had eaten some of the lobster filling before they gave it to me. This is my 5th time getting food from here and getting mysteriously overcharged the food is never prepared decently I will never visit this place again bottom line PERIOD…
