At our Beckley, WV location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Ok I was the first customer that day, and I was so surprised to see how dirty the place was. I told the lady that I was dining in, and she still brought my meal out to me in a box. I felt like a pig eatting in a trough. The food was so greasey, and it seems they cook everything in the same oil because it all had the same taste. At 1030 AM the floors, the tables, and the very nasty bathrooms should not be that dirty. “BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!!!!”

I did grab n go at the drive thru. Cannot speak to the atmosphere. I am always cheerfully greeted and my food is always hot and tasty. I have never had bad service here. The photo was directly across from the drive thru
