At our Bluefield, WV location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Poor food quality could not even eat it, 3rd time having a bad experience here but it’s a small town and the only fish place. I wish I had just gone hungry It wasn’t worth the effort or trouble. If I could give 0 stars I would terrible and I don’t recommend. It would be a better use of space for a local restaurant.

I went through the drive thru for 2 simple dinners,nothing complicated. The least busy time of the day,Total wait time was 32 minutes. No apology or anything…I gave it 2 stars because the food was good, but the service was absolutely horrible.. I’ll find another place for food before I sit 32 minutes in a drive thru lane.

Lady at window was nice but I spent over $60 get home and my fish was old and had been reheated and the chicken was the same look at the attached pictures will not be eating there anymore

Went through the drive thru..very busy for Mother’s day..service was fast..food was awesome..ordered 4 dinners and everything was perfect…

The person behind the register got our order wrong. All the tables were dirty in the dinning area. Two of the sauces/dips we asked for were forgotten. And my baked potato was not hot it was barely warm.

Called in ordered. The person that answered the phone answered very professionally. Took my order with no problem at all. Told me it would be twenty to thirty min. When I got there to pick it up it was ready and I was greeted with big smiles and a welcome to Captain D’s. My order was double-checked. Paid for it all in all a pleasant experience.
