Waited over an hour at the taco stand associated with Captain Bob’s and left without ever seeing a taco. Staff was apologetic but the taco stand should not be advertised since they are completely understaffed and overwhelmed.Shame on Captain Bob!

Hidden gem. Very good food. Super nice family runs the Restaurant. If you join the foodies club for $10.00 per annum you can bring wine. One price includes entree, soup or salad and dessert. This place is not to be missed when you’re in OCNJ.

A “hidden gem” in the South End! Had a wonderful dinner, great service, cozy but Covid friendly atmosphere. Outside dining available, but due to weather and mosquitoes we chose inside. Lovely outdoor patio! Menu is diverse and food was fresh and delicious.

Captain Bob’s has top-tier dishes at prices lower than you can find anywhere else. The epitome of local, a seasoned Ocean City couple owns &runs this restaurant; and has for almost as long as I’ve been alive. The food is Even better than the restaurant’s charming story would lead you to believe — my family got many of the dishes on the menu and each of them was like an entire symphony in and of itself: a blackened pistachio-crusted barrimundi that was accompanied by an entire baked potato, salmon that was cooked to flaky perfection, a chicken parm pasta that was breaded beautifully &came with more pasta than two men could eat, and many more to try. Captain Bob’s is one of the greatest restaurants I’ve ever been to because it’s clear a deep sense of care and pride goes into every plate. I can’t rate them highly enough, and with their amazing service you won’t regret dining here for a date, for work, or with family.

We had a party of eight. Everyone ordered a different meal and every dinner was great. Atmosphere inside is cozy and clean. Don’t judge from the exterior. Easy parking is another plus. Owner run business gives it that special friendly touch. We will be back many times with guests.
