The only reason they got a star was because the cream of crab soup was good (cold but good). The major disappointment was the lobster roll, where was the lobster it was totally filled with fake fish not 1 piece of lobster and for the money it was a rip off. Then charged $3 extra for a side salad.

The fried green tomatoes were delicious! Best thing we ordered. I was disappointed by my entree though, I had tacos. The meal was really small. I know other restaurants have overly large portions, but these were really small for the price and quality. There was a terrible passing storm that the staff had to juggle at the same time as our visit and they did a great job managing that and getting us our food without looking like they were flustered. The space was great! Beautiful view.

On a quiet rainy evening, restaurant was almost empty. Imagine a warm summer evening with lots of outdoor seating and lovely water views. Service prompt and friendly. Fried green tomatoes a must. Offers half portions on entrees. Brilliant idea avoids wasted food and overeating. Rockfish Imperial rivals its crab cousin. Shrimp/Chicken/Lobster Salad plentiful and tasty. Overall five star experience

I had the tuna which was pretty good. My wife had steamed shrimp that were very small and didnt look fresh. Our other guest had the stuffed rockfish. It was way overcooked. For $200 I expect better. Service was fine it was busy so a little slow.

We ordered rockfish tacos and rockfish imperial. It was very good but there was hardly any crab imperial on the fish but was still good. My biggest complaint is we ordered fish and chips to go to bring home for my mother. When I opened it there were only two and really actually I would say one and a half pieces of fish and small pieces at that and enough fries for 4 people. For $17 I felt it was a rip off. Had I seen this before leaving restaurant I would have complained for sure. I mean any other place you go you get three good size pieces of fish. I would even pay $20 or so for more fish. I’m not sure I will go back there again.

Pleasant waterfront atmosphere . They were overwhelmed but at the same time appeared to be well staffed. Fish Tacos and fried zucchini appeared well made and had good sauces. Fish Tacos did not sit well even though rockfish should be in season.

Good food and a good price, Service is a bit slow but the kids are working hard so please be patient with them. Food comes out slow as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice view of the water.

Foods ok for the price. Atmosphere is good. Wait time is bad. They are well staffed but seem disorganized. Our food came out warm, not hot. So I think it sat awhile before making it to the table.

Capsize has worked over last year to improve its service and the menu has been broadened and updated. Servers are all nice and make effort, but it still is a bit disorganized at times. They probably could use a real on-site manager, especially at busy times. Food has been good recently, except for mediocre fries (seemed pretty-maid and were luke warm). The one exception to nice servers is the woman bartender outside. She often has an attitude that takes away from the experience and seems on a power trip-just cold and aloof a lot. Most people here are customer-oriented though! We are glad Capsize is in town, and there always are things to work on at any establishment.

We had a party of 12 with a reservation. After being sat down before we got our drinks we were told all food orders were an hour behind. It took 45 minutes from after we sat down to have our food order taken and over an hour for the food to come out. We didn’t get our food until after they closed. Every year there is a big event this weekend but they always seem so understaffed
