Outside dining ONLY. Security sitting at the podium was of no help, had to flag down the 1 server. Steamed seafood is the specialty, however I had the BBQ Chicken flat bread, date had the Shrimp tacos- wished they would have been served on a plate vs taco compartments due to the mess while eating. Ordered the Conch Fritters but we’re out, had the hummus plate, artfully prepared.

The bartenders are fantastic, great quality service especially from Brandon. The head chef also cooked us a fantastic meal and made sure to come out personally and ask how we like everything. 12/10 experience will be back again!

I truly don’t understand the high reviews. We had one of the worst dining experiences of my life here. The food was good…except it took literally an hour to arrive and they let us know after we had waited that long that they were out of pizza ingredients, which was the only food we had ordered for the kids. When we asked if we could have some chips or we plain rice for the kids to eat, the server told us the kitchen was shutting down. At 7:25 in the evening when they’re open until 10??? So we inhaled our food that was left, paid quickly and rushed to find a drive through.

Add us to the list of people who completely enjoyed Caps. My wife’s burger was the stuff of legends. Two thin pattis cooked perfectly with crisp edges and juicy center, cheesy, grilled onion and a burger sauce. OMG bite on a perfectly toasted light bun. I’d have been jealous if I hadn’t been slurping mussels, clams, shrimp and scallops with Cajun buttered noodles. Must also add fun drink, fun drink, fun drink, fun drink! Special night – Thanks guys

Cap’s is an absolute gem of downtown St. Pete! We sat at the bar, and immediately became friends with Brandon, one of the nicest and most magical bartenders we’ve ever met. Great conversation & cocktails. We ordered the Cajun Corndogs and followed up with Scallops, Clams & Shrimp with veggies – everything was super fresh, arrived fast, and so very tasty. Topped dinner off with a hefty slice of key lime pie that was one of the best we’ve had. Head chef & owner, Jason, came out to introduce himself and was also extremely nice and welcoming. The chef who prepared our meal, whose name escapes me (apologies), was dynamite. The food and service was exceptional. Great vibe, great menu. We came as patrons and left as friends, which is both rare and awesome to us Florida locals. We’ll be going back asap.

This is my favorite bar in downtown St. Petersburg. It’s a great place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Brandon makes excellent drinks and is the best bartender in this town. Dustin is a sweetheart server as well. The vibe is great here and it’s always a nice place for food and drinks.
