First time visiting. Really nice and helpful staff. I chose the Capastrami, one of the signature items, with the naked fries. The order was prepared quickly and tasted great. With everything on it, the flavors of the sandwich are balanced with savory, lightly sweet, & tangy. The warm pastrami and cheese and the cool slaw go together well. The naked fries are really good with their unique thin but wide slice of the potato. They were hot and fresh.

My family loves eating at Capriotti’s! It has become our favorite sandwich place. The kids love the grilled cheese with tomato bisque soup. Hubs and I thoroughly enjoy the cheesesteak subs. The Atmosphere is great with a comfy sitting area while you wait and a book exchange. Check them out!!

When I first walked in a line formed in front of me, there was only one order taker. I patiently waited, waited some more and finally another order taker stepped up to hasten orders along. I have been back several times and my favorite is the Meatball sub. Italian Sausage is also yummy and the cookies. I will return.

The service was fast and friendly but the homemade turkey sandwich was below average. I think it has to do with the assembly of the sandwich. It’s hard to close, and the cheese and lettuce are sitting on top. Maybe put the cheese next to the turkey. Also the type of tomato (Roma, Campari) and type of lettuce (butterhead, coral) matter. It was too much bread and nothing really had any flavor. I make a better one at home.

We stopped by Capriotti’s for lunch, I’m going to say this and I know everyone has their favorite, but this is my favorite sandwich shop. We split a large chicken cheese steak, chips and 2 drinks. The chicken cheese steak was excellent. They make everything fresh to order so our cheese steak came out to us smoking hot. They even roast whole turkeys for their sandwiches. I can’t wait to go back to try one of the homemade turkey sandwiches.

The subs we ordered may have been great but full disclosure, we didn’t immediately eat the take out. We were busy and weren’t able to eat them until 3 or 4 hours later. The subs were undoubtedly soggy but still, the sub as a whole was good so we will give them the benefit of the doubt. The clam chowder was good, but nothing spectacular. As this was delivered, I can’t speak for the service of the staff. Little bit on the pricey side but overall good.
