Placed an order for 6 items, only received 5 and one of those was a completely different sandwich. Ah also 2 of the sandwiches we didn’t even get. Contacted them right away to get credit – said they did it and it was never done. Filing chargeback. Not the first time having problems with getting order correct here. Avoid, there are better places in Newark.

I haven’t been to Capriotti’s, but I always loved there subs. This experience was not good. Maybe it was the location. The $14 Bobby I ordered barely had anything on it and the turkey had bones in it. The biggest one about the size of a dime.

I’m not sure if this goes for all locations, but I just got a cheesesteak here and it has gone way downhill. This used to be the epitome of sub shops. Now it is just a really bad sub shop with only profit in mind. The cheesesteak had barely any meat, and what it did have was large chunks of bad quality. I am very disappointed as I used yo love this place when I went here for college. Never going back and I encourage you to go somewhere else.

So I called around 2:15 or 2:20 to order a turkey sub and a salad for my daughter. So my daughter went to go pick up the order around she’s running a little late around 4:30 something to 5:00 first of all the salad wasn’t ready. So it was a staff of a few young teenagers so the one boy ran back my daughter said to make the salad and he just threw that salad together and look nothing like the picture is supposed to been a barbecue turkey salad and it was chicken with maybe a quarter cup of chicken and a chopped salad. So that’s couple points off right there they got order wrong because they didn’t put the pickles on my sub like I asked for. This place has really went down over the last few years that’s my last time I try to give them a chance more than once but you will not get no more my money

Placed an order for me, my boyfriend and my two kids, one of which is autistic, to eat inside. After 25 minutes waiting, only my boyfriend’s sub was ready. I asked how much longer so I could tell my child since she was getting upset, and was told by the gentleman “It’ll be done when it’s done”. It’s now been 45 minutes and we are still waiting on a half salad and two cups of soup.

Placed a mobile order and picked it up 20min later. Was missing one of my sandwiches and the cashier didn’t wash his hands and made it to fix his mistake. I had a special order with no mayo on it and when I got home I realized there was indeed mayo on it. Sad. I paid $50 for 3 sandwiches and I wasted my money.

I used to love this Capriotti’s and made a special trip there to get a Bobbie. The stuffing was dry, crumbling and flavorless. And more concerning, there were bones in the chicken. A big one almost the size of my pinky. Will not finish this overpriced dangerous sandwich. Explains why the store was empty at dinnertime. Sad.
