Cappy’s is my favorite pizza joint. Hands down the best Chicago style in the area. The sauce is fresh and obviously made in-house, not from a jar. The cheese bread is fantastic. Always has just a bit of char on the bottom from the oven and is crispy and delicious. I love the choose-your-own beer cooler. Always a great experience.

I was pleasantly surprised tonight, I’m pretty picky about pizza. This place is awesome, delicious pizza! We got the Cappys Chicago and it did not disappoint. I have been a local that loves Zoey’s…this place I have to say is even better. I’ll be returning on a regular basis. Not to mention the two kids behind the counter were very kind and the place looked great.

This place is Great! There decor, service and food is wonderful! They have a huge variety of beers. Decent wine selection for a pizza place. We had the Cesar salad which we literally ate completely all of ….like nothing left super good!! And for pizza it was a New York style medium veggie add pepperoni and it was legit…BOOM…..2 of is were only able to finish half partly due to the massive Cesar we took down and the glasses of Cabernet but I love leftovers!! Can’t wait to go back……like seriously tomorrow…….Love it……..Fin……….until next time pizza gods.

Excellent service and the small tossed salad was super fresh, cold, and a large portion for the money. New York pizza crust was a little thick for my liking, lots of good cheese …could have used a little more meat, but still good.

The best gluten free pizza I have ever had. A great size for a GF pizza and was everything you would want in a pizza. Ordered take out so can’t speak on the place itself but I am sure it is amazing.

The pizzas we had for CR Veg week were phenomenal. The Vegan Cheeseburger pizza was one of the best things I have ever put into my mouth. If you are ever in the Cedar Rapids corridor, you definitely need to check this place out.

Good pizza, bad customer service. We’re long time patrons of Cappy’s pizza. The pizza is great and Bella is excellent. However, we won’t be back due to rude service. We were incorrectly charged for 2 large pizzas and a large salad but received 2 medium pizzas and no salad. Not a big deal but when we called to correct the mistake they were rude and combative. They eventually offered a “free” large pizza but we won’t be taking them up on it… It’s not about a few bucks, it’s about being treated fairly and with respect.

Probably one of the best places to get high quality Chicago style pizza in CR. THere was a bit of a wait, but worth it. I love the breadsticks because of the great fluffy texture on the inside and toasted crunch on the outside with fresh marinara.
