Great italian restaurant in Sag Harbor. We had a take out on the weekend – the place was busy with a well stocked bar. The staff/manager was extremely friendly and chatty, making the interaction and the food pickup a bit more enjoyable – picking lots of foods for a party of 15. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed (the quantity was more than substantial leaving some leftovers for the next day lunch.

A really unpleasant restaurant being held up by good kitchen staff. After initially being told the restaurant was full we were offered to get “take out” and eat in the restaurant’s terrace area, all good so far. However, things would quickly take a bizarre turn. When some of our group went to check on whether the food was ready, the hostess invited us to sit inside because a table had opened up. Upon sitting down we were confronted by a confused and angry waiter asking us whether we had “just taken the table” or someone had allowed us to sit there. After we explained we had been offered the table, he promptly marched to the hostess and declared loudly enough for us to hear “it’s your fault”. This should have been a red flag. What followed was 1 hour of cold behaviour and barely aknowledging our existence before dumping the bill at our table without even asking whether we would like dessert or a second drink. The whole situation was at least made slightly amusing by the endless mistakes he made at our neighbouring tables: forgetting orders, getting them wrong, making errors with the bill, and letting a couple with a young child wait 45 minutes for drinks and a salad (mistakes that to his credit, he at least had the decency to apologise for). The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because, ironically, the food was actually very good. However, the general vibe we got is that this is an acceptably nice Italian restaurant that has completely lost touch with reality and needs to improve it’s work culture.

This is the second time that I’ve gone here .. they did not disappoint! I had a specially made sandwich of grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, pesto in a fresh focaccia bread. The sandwich was also frilled, served with a special sauce to dip it. Wow! It was delish! We got the sandwich to go, and it was huge! We shared one. This place is one of my bf’s favorite places. We also got a Cannoli that was creamy and over-stuffed. My bf never had one before… now says he’s addicted! Lol

Amazing Italian restaurant! The food and staff were wonderful. The portion size is great. I had a tough time finishing my half-plate order of pasta. The prices were very fair, especially since you get so much. Will definitely go back again! Also, the calamari was AMAZING!

Have not had pizza here in years but remember it as being pretty good. This time I was shocked how bad it was. Very little sauce and flavor. Dough was tough and bready. The toppings covered 3/4 of the pie. Requested well done and saw a very white crust. Maybe it was an off night but it was disappointing. Not sure we’ll try again.

Wow! This is the best Italian food I’ve had on Long Island! Everything we ordered reminded me of the meals my Italian great aunts and my grandmother would cook. So delicious and authentic. The meatballs and the rigatoni Bolognese were just perfect. The mussels in white wine were fresh and delicious, as were the sautéed mushrooms and broccoli rabe. We can’t wait to return for another meal!
