Always great food, my wife loves the lobster roll, I usually get a fish sandwich, the fish is always cooked perfectly and you get a nice sized filet. Everything is fresh, love it!!

The reason I rated a four is because, the point’s that you earned isn’t accurate. And they stop selling . Today food was okay Fish was a little soft not enough seasoning and greens tasted like Glory greens. Looks like all new staff since the last visit. All staff was very pleasant, dinning area very clean, also great music. Although I wasn’t very happy today I will go back because they are the best in the city that I’ve tasted thus far.

I called in to place my order and was pleasantly surprised to hear the accent of the darling man that answered. I don’t know his name, where he’s from or how long he has been back at Caplinger’s but, as soon as I heard his voice, I knew two things. One, that our order would be correct and two that the food would be great. I don’t know his position there but, when he’s there, the food and service are always awesome! As expected, our order was correct, it was ready when promised and the food was delicious! The perch, basa, alligator bites and all the sides were cooked perfectly. Thank you so much for making my boyfriend’s birthday dinner experience a good one.

It is not often in the Midwest you can find good quality seafood for an affordable price but I was very impressed with the Calamari steak and the shrimp. Really liked their dipping sauce for the fried oysters. I look forward to trying the crab cakes and clam strips next time. Brian and Rex were polite and the food did take about 20 mins or so but it was hot and fresh.
