I really enjoy their food. I have been here 4 times and the Catfish is ALWAYS seasoned and fried perfectly. I have never been a tarter sauce person but their’s is delicious! It is sweet, kinda like honey mustard. Definitely will return.

We have been to Caplingers several times and absolutely loved it. You could tell the food was fresh. Tonight we ordered the Caplingers Special Basa fish sandwich and was very disappointed with it. It was not made fresh. It was rubbery and the bread was not freshly toasted. We were really looking forward to this sandwich as in the past it was awesome. I don’t know what happened, but the Pendleton Pike location is not the same. I’m hoping this review will help to bring back the quality we loved.

Caplingers never disappoints! Best fried shrimp in Indiana, I think. Hush puppies! Mmmm… Service was good, but atmosphere is lacking – not their fault – they’re in a trailer on Pendleton Pike and I passed it twice it was so small. When you drive down into the lot, it’s nicer – picnic tables out.

Everything was so fresh and flavorful. From the perfectly seasoned and crispy breading to the fresh seafood to the sauces. Everything was still crispy by the time I got home! 11/10 will be back.

Wow the name Fresh says it all! The place offers food that truly taste so amazing. Their special is Basa and their tarter sauce really goes well with it! They also have a deli area and the smoked tuna salad… try it! It’s just so flavorful, simply great to take home and have on crackers. I must try when in Indianapolis area.

Definitely worth it! Amazing food and you get alot. Highly recommend! My picture doesn’t do the sandwich justice. I cut into it before I thought of taking the picture. But you can see it is overflowing with crab and cheese and goodness!

Ordered the lobster roll today for lunch. Been wanting one of these for years. unfortunately the lobster meat was very bland and had the same flavor as fake crab. Stale bun and the portion was very small compared to what they advertise. Disappointed.

Crab cakes are HORRIBLE!! You can taste the old grease they were cooked in!!! Not fresh at all, taste like they were cooked yesterday and was reheated today!!! Same with the green beans, absolutely reheated!!! Waste of my money!!!!
