My wife and I had an amazing time and meal there last night. Had to leave this review. We ate at the bar and had impeccable service. The server kept us smiling and well fed! In total I had 3 lobsters cooked to perfection. We go there every year when we vacation in Maine for our anniversary . Every time is awesome, we always recommend this to friends as well. This is a great place with an awesome atmosphere!!

Our first time having dinner there and we will definitely be back. The owner came to our table and welcomed us. He gave us some history and also shared plans for the upcoming season. The food was delicious and hot, waitress was very friendly and attentive, everything was clean and inviting, and plenty of servers to handle a full restaurant. Best meal so far this trip! We wish you well on the future remodeling ! We plan to return next year to check out the changes. Don’t change the menu or the staff they were great!!

After a 30 minute wait (reasonable, given the time we went), service was quick, professional, and attentive. We were sat at the bar until a table was cleared. It was pretty loud, though. When we were finally seated, the food was good. The apps and meal came at a good pace, with plenty of time for us to enjoy our crab dip and soup, without being rushed to make room on the table for the main course. To summarize, be ready for a reasonable wait, be prepared to talk over the other guests, but you’ll enjoy the food and the service. Maybe not the bill, though.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Amazing food, spectacular service, and just great vibes all around – please do yourself a favor and go now! Fresh food (my lobster Mac and cheese was amazing, lots of lobster and cheese; hubbys meal was also delicious) and delicious drinks (get the watermelon margarita!) My husband and I visited York, ME for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Lobster Pound was the last restaurant we visited on our trip and our only regret was that we didn’t visit earlier. The owner Eddy made us feel like family and so welcomed! We will be returning to Maine just because of the fabulous service and attention we received here. Thank you for welcoming us and making our trip memorable!!

We visited the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound which is under new ownership for a late lunch. The food we had was fantastic as well as the outstanding service we received from our server Gretchen. Had lunch here today. Food was just OK, nothing special. Clam chowder was bearly warm. Portions of seafood were very small. We were very shocked when the bill arrived. $13.00 dollars for 1 glass of white wine outrageous. $27.00 for scallop basket that only contained 5 fried scallops is highway robbery. Will never go back.

Under new ownership, this summer food was excellent. Came out piping hot. Service was outstanding manager came over to see how our dinner was Thought that was great. Our server was outstanding, It was a little bit warm in the restaurant but maybe had issues with the AC overall great experience Definitely go back.
