I’m no stranger to this place. But with a toddler it’s a little tougher to get out. It was our Daughters first time at canyon road. She loved it all the food out door seating… The restaurant was super kid friendly and the owner Roberto came over personally to make sure everything was good. He has no problem making stuff off the menu for kid dietary needs as my Doughter has many restrictions. I’d recommend checking this place out on date night or with the family.

This place was great. Came here on a whim for a Saturday night dinner that would be filling and it hit that expectation! The chicken fajitas had a great amount of flavor and the carne Tampiqueña (hanger steak) was extremely good especially with the added chicken flauta in the middle. Our beergarita came with a full Corona extra which caught me by surprise. Service was very attentive and they brought plenty of chips and salsa for our table. Will definitely come again.

Canyon Road, located on 1st Avenue on the Upper East Side, is a great little spot for decent Mexican food & really good margaritas. The atmosphere is really cozy, especially on a rainy day. I recently came here for the first time, we sat at the bar and Dani took great care of us! I highly recommend the chips + guacamole and the pitcher of house margaritas. Make note: the pitcher can be dangerous, really make a consideration before ordering a second, you may not need it. 🙂 Enjoy!

OMG, where do I even start. My family and I were seated 30 minutes early, with the staff awesome, nice and quick. Took drink orders almost immediately and brought them out within a few minutes. Appetizers were amazing (three cheese nachos) and all of the main courses were incredible. Staff was patient and great with my family of 7, and would recommend. Love this fine establishment, and come here soon! My family enjoyed every minute of our dinner. Our taste buds were satisfied and the food is THE BEST! We highly recommend.

Came here with friends a few nights ago and it was great!! Sadly I didn’t take any pictures then but am including what I took a few years back. Love the atmosphere, the al pastor margarita (or any for that matter), and the fajitas are great! Also love that they’re diligently checking proof of vaccination – definitely makes you feel safer when eating indoors.
