It was a beautiful Wednesday morning and my wife and I were off work and we were driving by this location. We stopped by to try their food and I can honestly say they did not disappoint! Best breakfast I’ve had in years. Omelette, steak and country potatoes were off the hook! Not to mention the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE that was provided by the waitresses and servers. They were so great, I had to take a photo of them so I could share who they are with others. I will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone that’s seeking a great place to have breakfast.

Had a great experience at Canyon Cafe! Visited on Sun 11am, we were lucky to get a corner booth. Our server, Melissa, was very prompt and attentive. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, home made biscuits! This is a half order. The bacon was perfectly crispy/chewy, hash browns were perfect too. My family loved the pancakes, omelet and cheeseburger! Would come back again for sure!

My nostalgic bias probably plays into my rating because it reminds me of the small town roadside diners of my youth. Nonetheless, the food is always delicious (even if it will later require a nap and most probably a doctor cleaning out my arteries); the service is friendly and welcoming; and the prices are very budget-worthy.

We visited here multiple times because our hotel was right across the street (and the hotel had an outrageously priced grab and go burrito as it’s only option). Canyon was what you would expect from a diner. It was good portions, reasonably priced and decent food. Staff was friendly and kept the coffee full.

Make sure you tip the wait staff with cash! They work hard and deserve it.

I lived in Vallejo for over 20 years and never visited this hidden gem. Is rough looking from the outside and the area is truly a country style dinner. It you can get over that, ones you are inside you are in for an amazing experience with the sitting areas that is very spacious and nostalgic old school but we’ll care for. Our host Kristen was very tentative to our needs and made great suggestion.

I have been there about a dozen times. I am more than pleased with the diner. Simple place for a simple guy.

This use to be our favorite diner in town until they hired this new, fat and obnoxious waitress. She’s so rude and hovers over her tables to see how much of a tip you leave her upon finishing your meal. Never comes around for refills and talks crudely and loud so everyone in the restaurant (including children) can hear.

When the pace is empty, that should be a clue. Then single slice wraped fake cheese with link sausage chopped in like just an egg in a toce shape..& box potato as hash browns. Two of the smallest biskets & plain WHT grave enough for a child..

A local hidden gem. Food is great. The portions are humongous, and best of all, the price can’t be beaten.
