If you want a nice brunch, come here. When they opened at 10:30 a.m., we arrived and was seated immediately with our menus! As soon as we walked in, we could scent freshness in the air, and the staff was cheery and upbeat. We had a guy server that had beautiful big hair and excellent customer service the whole day! We stayed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. just to dine, drink, and listen to music. We ended up ordering so much food while the time was passing. They played 90s and 2000s R&B at an appropriate volume throughout the entire visit. Not too noisy and not too quiet! It is not too light inside, allowing you to relax while listening to music and sitting. Our server continued to check on us and refill our beverages without ever rushing us. They also served hookah, which I’m not a fan of, but someone else in my party appreciated both the price and flavor. Now the entrees were the main attraction! The red velvet waffles must be ordered on the first visit because they are that good!! The catfish was perfectly fried, and the shrimp in the grits were perfectly seasoned alongside the grits. Two areas of opportunity for the restaurant is the grits was too watery but they were well-seasoned and also the price for the bacon was highway robbery! I paid five dollars for two shriveled up pieces of bacon. Seems a little excessive. The drinks did not disappoint, we order shots, cocktails and we also ordered a patron flight, which reminded me not to consume it too quickly because it left me feeling extremely good. The flight’s flavors made you forget it contained alcohol. I would return to this restaurant! The price was reasonable for the quantity of food I ordered. Maintain the excellent service and good food!

Came for brunch on Saturdays around 1:00pm and there was plenty availability which shocked me. Service was good and food even better! I ordered the Fried lobster tail with red velvet waffles, scrambled eggs and potatoes. Very good! Had a grande mimosa which I didn’t enjoy (I think the flavors I chose weren’t a good mix) also had a lemon drop and that was great! Hookah was good but they only had two flavors. Will definitely go again to try more items on the menu. The vibe was cool as there was a few birthdays being celebrated. Great music and atmosphere. Gave 4 stars bc the table was wobbly at two places we sat.

Love the server is very attentive and friendly. My brunch was delicious and the portion was huge. I can’t forget the good R&B and hip hop music in the background. My blueberry mint hookah was Bussin and pulling real good Next time I’m in town. I will definitely be back because the menu looks delish

Brunch was brunch on a Thursday! The music was a vibe, the food came out in a timely manner & was very delicious (strawberry French toast, cheese grits, cheese eggs, & bacon) along with our order we had the mimosa tower that I feel could’ve used more flavor, overall I recommend & I’ll for sure be back!

Loved the vibe. It was packed . The best freakin chicken egg and cheese biscuit I ever had in my entire life. The chicken was fried and seasoned to perfection. The egg was scrambled lightly and soft. The biscuit omg soft buttery with the perfect hint of honey . Chicfila who?? Definitely will be going again

The woman at the door was nice she greeted me in no time and seated us. I got to the table and it was wet. I didn’t know until I sat my purse down and leaned in to look at the menu. My elbows were wet, I asked one of the guys for napkins so I could wipe the table off. He was quick and nice about it. My sever was MJ, she came and greeted us and was nice but we asked for a lemon drop martini with tequila. Apparently, that’s not something they do at this location because I was bought a cosmo, then a pre-made lemon drop from a container with vodka in it. I sat at the table right in front of the bar so I seen it all. I asked the bartender to come here for a sec and asked him was he able to make my now 3rd drink with specific ingredients. I watched him make the martini that I was charged 33$ for with Hornitos and I asked for Termana. He did use both but still, I didn’t ask for it. Either way I settled on the drink he made and was annoyed with the whole experience.

First time here at this restaurant, it is smaller then expected, came at 11:30 and they weren’t to busy but we had to wait 45 mins to be seated at a booth ..I highly recommend getting there as soon as they open.The food was good the chicken could use a little more seasoning but the fried potatoes was on point . While eating it got a little more busy and Unfortunately our waiter got held up and it took a while to get the check. I would come back to this establishment it is decent.

Best spot in VA for brunch!!! A hidden GEM for sure!!! A must try! Our host was quick and efficient to seat us comfortably & our amazing waitress bri was very nice as well. Great customer service and local recommendations she gave us while we were here. The food was amazing!! We got the chicken and waffles which were perfectly cooked and mouth watering – catfish was the best thing we ordered on side it was absolutely amazing with eggs, grits & for those who don’t eat pork they have substitute!!!! Turkey bacon an absolute plus so they deff get a 5star rating overall!! MUST TRY IF IN NORFOLK AREA!!!
