We tried this place for dinner because my girlfriend read some good stuff about the food. Glad we did the food is amazing a little slow in drive thru but that is because thw food is fresh and hot. I am telling you it is the best orange chicken I have had in Springfield. You want good food tet it out you will not be disappointed.

Haven’t been in the building since it was Captain D’s. The building was well kept and clean. The wife orders pepper chicken she liked the sauce that was on it. We ordered fried chicken rice which was pretty decent nothing spectacular but nothing bad. They let us order a side order of sauce which really helped over the over the rice. They have Szechuan chicken on the menu and for some reason I ordered it I should have known better than orders Szechuan chicken in Cantonese restaurant basically it just had a few red chili flakes in it. It wasn’t bad just not what I expected a little more spicier baba.

We heard good things about this place so we decided to try it. I got the chicken and broccoli with steamed rice. The chicken really had no flavor other than like uncooked chicken. My girlfriend ordered the general chicken and she said it tasted like tomato juice. The steamed rice was hard. The service was nice and quick though.

This is our go to choice for Chinese! I like Cantonese style Chinese food. The chicken is always white meat and crispy, the veggies are cooked but still crisp and the sauces are flavorful. If you’re looking for something spicy and full of red pepper, try something with Szechuan style dishes. The staff here have always been friendly and helpful. I love the egg fu yung here!

Great Springfield-style cashew chicken in an old Captain D’s storefront. It was probably a 10-15 minute wait in the drive-thru (we were the only car), but we didn’t mind the wait. Food was hot and fresh and presumably cooked to order. My husband accidentally received cashew chicken instead of sweet and sour chicken, but thought it was so good that he went ahead and ate it all without going back to exchange, haha. The crab rangoons are more savory than sweet, which I personally prefer, but my husband likes the sweet ones at other restaurants more. We’ll likely be back.

Just had dinner here. Ordered a general chicken and cashed chicken. There was absolutely no flavor to either dish. They use the same breaded chicken in both dishes and add a different brown sauce on top of it that is hard to distinguish the difference. Horrible food. I also ordered two egg rolls and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon had ZERO crab in it and was stuffed with only cream cheese. Don’t come here!!!
