Very good Chinese food with great service, pleasant ambiance. The pepper beef and orange chicken was the best folled by the green beans and the chicken chow mien. Definitely worth another visit. Constructive criticism… wish the setting included chopsticks and bigger wine list (come on we’re in Livermore with 50+ wineries… lol)

Take out lunch this afternoon. Ordered tofu fried w veggies, came sauteed or steamed, Probably better for us anyway, but we had a craving… Fried Rice nicely cooked, generous veggies. Egg rolls always good. Cashier polite & attentive. We’ve been getting Chinese food from Canton Village for about 20 yrs. Will continue another 20.

Canton Village is extremely good about customizing their menu items for allergies, spice level, and whatever protein you want if you need to substitute. For example, we frequently order the dry sauteed green beans with “no spice” and it’s still quite tasty, just not hot. I love the crab rangoon. Egg rolls are vegetarian too. The portion sizes are terrific. The ginger in the steamed fish dinner is fantastic, and the golden scallops with broccoli are extremely tasty. Very attentive and polite staff, make you feel at home.

Stopped by this place for lunch on my way to Tracy and once again for dinner on my way back. Both times proved to be excellent experiences. I was with my infant daughter and the staff were great, the place was clean, and the food was delicious and fresh. Hope to visit again the near future.

So I ordered the Kung poa chicken…. which was 90%vegetables and peanuts… I know every restaurant is different but I’ve never been somewhere where it was mainly veggies without it being named a veggie plate. I’m sorry but if it’s listed as a chicken plates then I expect the chicken to override the rest of the mix it’s. The egg flour soup was good but I was disappointed in my lunch

The place is okay. The service is great though. I wouldn’t mind coming just cuz I know it’s good hospitality. It’s authentic food for sure because it taste different than the dollar scoop ones. However I’d rather go to those than this.
