Canton noodle is under new management. Unfortunately their wonton broth is not as good as the previous owner who uses dried scallops and anchovies to brew the both, which makes the broth rich in flavorful. The Sway Kai was missing the shrimp and tasted blend.

Same place different owners.. Flavor of noodles and brisket changed drastically with new spices added. Really tasty but a bit much for my taste buds. I like the plain flavor they had before with the previous owners, but change happens and in this case it’s acceptable.

I don’t know why I haven’t rated this place. I’m a regular and love their soups, my favorite is the regular sized wonton noodle soup with Tendon, the egg and pork congee and an order of Chinese donuts. Mmm love their hot tea and chili oil and simple Chinese soup toppings. I highly recommend!! Perfect for a cold day or hangover!

Best egg noodle. Best soup. And best Shui-Kao (dumpling) in Seattle. Really tasty. Big portions. Good price. Easy to phone call order and pick up in-restaurant. Very nice people.

Upon entering the restaurant, I smelled the familiar odor of fish. The smell reminded me of Mike’s noodles so it seemed promising. Sat down and ordered a suit kau (wonton with mushroom) and braised beef noodle soup. It arrived within 4 minutes. I also received complementary black tea. It’s good but not 5 stars good. I would say 3.5 stars at most. You can watch the owner and chef Jeanie stuffing wontons in the dining room. The place definitely has potential though. Options to buy frozen sui kau for home in a freezer. Looks like a family owned and run business so definitely support them! Cost is the same as Mike’s but I’d have to drive further. I’ll be sticking to Mike’s.

I got the sui kau & braised beef noodle soup. Was quite good and plentiful. Prices have gone up unfortunately, which is understanding, but it’s getting to be a bit much to recommend going out of your way for.

This is a run down feeling noodle house with seemingly authentic Hong Kong style noodle soup. It was good if you like this style. I am not a huge fan but I could see how others would enjoy. Service is good as this is a small locally owned establishment. I would just be cautious as we watched the lady handle money and immediately go back to wrapping wantons without washing her hands. I probably won’t be back.
