Stopped in and lunch at this location for the first time today. I’ve been to a few others so I had an idea of what to order. It’s Kiawah, so there shouldn’t be any surprises with how much things are here. I thought it was reasonable for the location. I had the fried chicken salad and house margaritas today and they were all good. Definitely a good spot to grab some lunch or quick dinner if you’re in the area.

Our visit to Cantina 76 at Kiawah Island with our twin boys, who usually enjoy Mexican-inspired food, unfortunately, fell short of our expectations. From start to finish, our dining experience left us feeling quite disappointed.

Wonderful outdoor dining experience! The hostess told us it would be a 15-20 min wait for outdoor seating and exactly 15 minutes later we were sat at a very clean table. Our server’s recommendations were excellent and our drinks were never empty! We started with warm tortilla chips and salsa and our tacos were delicious. We’ll be back!

Only giving 5 stars because April was great and food was great. I have never left a review before, but this one I feel had to be said publicly. My husband and I spoke to our server about it, but I’m more comfortable making a public statement. Starting off amazing staff. Managers were tasking around, margs were also something with recommending. However, the hostess was running around cleaning more than she was at this door, this brings me back to our entrance, we weren’t greeting for a while as we watched her focus more on cleaning the tables around her than getting to the door. Once we were done with our meal we noticed her in the booth area falling asleep while cleaning the table.. please, either stop overworking your employees or require a mandatory drug screening. I know times are tough finding good workers, but this was entirely too hard to watch…

Our first time there! Food was delish, service was amazing. Totally recommend Cantina 76!

Hit or miss. Sometimes it is really good and fairly priced, but other times you’ll get a lackluster taco without accoutrements. Chimichangas are good, but they come with rice and i got a tablespoon of rice that was hard. I took it back and showed them and just asked for chips instead. Staff is really nice though!

Food was okay. Peruvian shrimp Tacos were good but they could hold back some of the coleslaw. Service was a bit slow (was a Friday night). We were sat a table with no umbrella (sun was beaming). Asked to sit elsewhere, however, the waiter offered to try and fix the umbrella and never returned. Can’t go wrong with salsa, guac and chips.

Hectic place. Not bad but expected more. Server did ok but was stretched pretty thinly. Food was ok; Peruvian shrimp taco was good. Guacamole was good but tortilla chips didn’t taste very fresh. Very noisy atmosphere.

The food was delicious! Everything tasted so good and fresh! Best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! The service was unmatched and our waitress Shakaria was so wonderful. If you’re shopping at Fresh Fields and want a bite to eat that doesn’t break the bank but is still amazing, Cantina 76 is the place to go!

Waited an hour for a table, which usually wouldn’t be an issue, because we love Cantina and frequently eat there in Columbia. However, the service was absolutely terrible. Our server, Izzy (Im guessing thats her name because thats what it said on the ticket, NOT because she introduced herself to us) touched the table maybe three times. My girlfriend and i both have worked in the service industry 5+ years and know correct server etiquette, and we both agreed this is one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had. I waited 20 minutes for a margarita, we brought my girlfriends sisters and their friends out, and they all went with empty drinks throughout dinner. I dont know if she assumed that because we had younger girls with us, and i was the only one drinking, that our check wouldnt be high enough or that we werent going to tip properly or what, but regardless of the group of people, level of service should never waiver. Absolutely would ask for a different server if we came back here and got sat in her section for a second time. Ridiculous
