Sinitron “Sinitron”
Canteen has provided my family with delicious treats for years. Loved by locals and visitors. Fried chicken and food is made to order, it’s amazing and worth the wait. Check out the Banh Mi sandwich if available. The Creemee quality and flavors are great, we enjoyed maple, chocolate, and special brownie in a waffle cone. The staff is friendly with the line out the door on the busiest of summer days. We’ll always visit when in town!

YUM!!! What a great spot for a snack. They have signs up, but be prepared to wait – they are not fast food and nothing is coming from flash frozen so it takes time.

Good food. Fried chicken is pretty darn good, as are the onion rings. The creemies are pretty cool. Very creative flavors and combinations. We’ll be back again. The atmosphere is mostly outdoors

I can’t say enough positive things about Canteen Creemee. We stop in on every trip through VT! I grew up in Alabama so I am a pretty harsh critic when it comes to fried chicken. Canteen’s fried chicken is by far the best I’ve ever had. It’s always perfect! Their ice cream is delicious too. Definitely a “must” if you’re in the area!

Delicious fried chicken. Ordered 8 pieces for my wife and I. Way too much! Should’ve split a 4 or 6 piece at most. The corn pudding is interesting, not bad it’s like a dense cornbread. Lots of butter in it.

I come all the way from Texas twice a year to get their maple creemee, it’s the best! The music and staff are great, especially Kai from Malaysia who always greets us with a smile and a familiar hello! Don’t miss out if you’re in the Waitsfield area.
