I ordered a fish fry, and the piece of fish was shockingly small. I really was taken back by the size of the fish. My husband ordered a pasta dish that was good. He ordered a salad because his meal did not come with one, which was surprising. We were charged $6.00 for the salad and an additional $1.50 for blue cheese dressing! $7.50 for a small dinner salad. Dingy atmosphere.

Old, tired & dated. You can feel it in the surroundings, the staff and most importantly….the FOOD!! Most of the 8 people served received cool/cold food & had to be refired. My entree was cold and uninspired. And they were not busy! Atmosphere is depressing…sad.

Probably the worst meal I’ve had here. The pizza was like cardboard. The antipasto was old tasting and wasn’t very fresh. We ordered the antipasto and when we got it home it had no meat, just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Called there and had to drive back to get the meat and cheese which were to say the least skimpy. The ham was one slice rolled and cut in half, pepperoni and cheese included. The girl at Canales said that’s the amount that goes into a 6-8 person antipasto. Extremely disappointed. That was a $36 dollar antipasto

I cannot believe you let this pizza leave your kitchen like this and then let a customer take it home! The cheese was burnt and the crust was like cardboard. I live in the country and it wouldn’t have been worth it to drive in and ask for a replacement. $25 for garbage. Will not be back.

Stopped in for Tuesday night chicken parm special. Quickly seated, friendly wait staff. Fresh bread and hearty salad. Two good size pieces of chicken and rigatoni with sauce.

I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere because of the patio. Perfect spot on a warm spring/summer day. The service is always great. The food is good, but I wish they had more daily specials and vegetarian options. The pizzas and salads are great!

Excellent restaurant. Delicious food. Great service. Good choices on the menu. Everyone we talked to in town said the same thing. Great reputation. I don’t see how you would be disappointed eating here. We will be back . Parking is ok. Just enough room on the side and right across the street. There is plenty of seating . Can’t go wrong.

Attended fathers day brunch. Food was horrible. Sliders were cold, hash browns were very burnt, muffins were dry. I ended up throwing more food out than I ate. Then my bill came and I had $30 charge for orange juice. Do you really need to charge for each glass with the price of the buffet paid. Probably won’t be back next year. Will seek another venue for Father’s day.

I placed an order of 50.00. I got 9 pieces of shrimp and a 6-8 oz piece of steak between an appetizer and an entree. I ordered the steak medium rare and received a well done steak. I ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer and it was 5 pieces of shrimp with a tiny bit of sauce for $17. I ordered a $30 entree and apparently that equals 4 pieces of shrimp and a 6-8 oz piece of steak. It wasn’t ribeye or any legit cut of meat and in fact was mediocre at best. I will never come here again. The whole thing is laughable. This place can only be in business by dumb people coming here for nostalgia or wanting the only italian place in Oswego. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for price gouging.
