Was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted a place to eat at that was within walking distance. Nice brewery with a patio. They have beer and seasonal cocktails. You can order pizza by the slice or a whole pizza, however the slices are huge and looked good. I ordered the Italian sub and Cesar salad. BEST decision I have made. Yummy!

They got it right x2! I’m from NY so I get to be critical when a pizza place advertises “NY Pizza.” As you walk in the door, the smell is a first giveaway that the pizza you’re about to enjoy is authentic. Great aroma, good people vibe, and beautiful inside and outside available space. We both ordered the kölsch, a tough brew to get right, and they nailed the beer perfectly! We enjoyed sitting outside, the first beer and set up the second round. After 50 minutes of waiting, I went inside to find out if we were forgotten. The staff apologized, noted the error, sent out our order as fast as they could recover and refunded the cost. The salads were very large and had great flavor and the pizza was a testament to the best NY pizza. We tried other beers at 7 Seas and others but the kölsch here was the best! Very impressed with the pizza, beer, and recovery. We’ll be back with friends!

Solid pizza and beer in an industrial setting. Somewhat unusual for Tacoma, they sell pizza by the slice and the slices are large (1/6 of a 20” pie). Pizza is decent NY style with cheese very forward. Had a nice Helles beer and my wife enjoyed a nice cider. The place has a nice family friendly, neighborhood vibe and sits at the start of the Brewery Blocks a few blocks off the UW Tacoma campus.

UPDATE: Unfortunately this last visit was bad enough to update my review. The order I called in wasn’t processed and we had to wait for them to make it…then after waiting and spending $70+ on our two pies they denied us a road slice. Super disappointing since I’ve been a fan of this place. When I review it’s not just about the food but the experience as well. Didn’t feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer.

I absolutely LOVE this little pizza spot…I will say WHY i gave 4 *….food: 4* only cause they only had salads, pizza and sandwiches? But NOT chicken wings…. though it was pretty fast coming out and super good Service: 5* cause the waitress (Courtney) was super nice! Atmosphere: 4* cause all they have is a TV for the sports games…WISH THEY HAD A JUKEBOX or some sort of music or something, Karaoke ?….even if it’s on the outside porch on Friday nights? Porch is beautiful at night all lite up and stuff anyways….I’d give a 5* but little minor things made it a 4* (willing to change in future). I actually discovered this restaurant as a Door Dasher while picking up an order for a customer of mine. I was given a token to try a free slice of pizza on my first visit and I absolutely enjoyed myself and loved it. I will definitely be bringing my family next time. First time was just a date night for my husband and I. Pizza slices are the size of your plate and a full Pizza is really massive not your normal size pizzas LMAO won’t even fit in a normal pizza box ❤️ ( pic#1: “fancy meats pizza”, pic#2: chicken and artichoke pizza and pic #3: Cesar Salad, big enough for 2!)

After moving to Tacoma almost two years ago we thought we wouldn’t find a pizza place we would like. We discovered this place a few months ago and this is our third time getting pizza from Camp Colvos here in Tacoma and we still love it. Customer service has been great all three times, I’ve ordered online twice and each time I’ve arrived 5-10 min early and the pizza had just come out so it was hot and delicious. So far I haven’t tried a beer I didn’t like from there, the atmosphere here is super relaxed it is a great place to hangout and eat while you have a few beers or take something home.

Walked around the corner and the outdoor space beckoned us in. Super friendly people and our drinks were made just like that! Slices are perfect with just the right amount of chew and they are huge. The Caesar Salad added a great counter to the slice. A nice breeze helped us to relax and have great conversation while devouring our pizza

This place has great foldable pizza. I had the special and was surprised at the blast of flavors. It was standing room only for most of the time – place was packed and for good reason. I like the kitchen/staff interactions and the overall vibe. The outdoor patio was nice and the location was convenient. For 5 bucks a slice, it was a decent experience.

Young people stop calling grown men bro/dude/ or whatever the hell you call people nowadays. if people have no rapport with you then follow the protocol before you piss someone off. Also verify next time if you charging for full pizza or slice. After all you sell by the slice, so it stand to reason one person may want to start with that without assuming and not verifying. If someone orders a beer, you don’t charge for the whole keg without asking questions. Stupid mistake that ruined my experience. Pizza/beer is good. Service pissed me off. Not coming back.

Place has a big hipster vibe, but its not bad. I live here and brought family from NY and we definitely initially got the “obvious tourist” treatment, but it seemed fine after we ordered. There was some kind of church pastor trying to corral people outside for “free food” when we went and I could have passed on that, we would have liked to sit outside on a beautiful day but had to stay in because of that. We ordered a whole cheese pie. Pizza was decent, really good for around here. Just a little floppy, but had good cheese and nice chewy thin crust. The pizza should be cut into 8 slices, not 6. The mega giant floppy slices are a tourist myth in NY, really (the irony). But over all it turned out nice and I’d definitely come back.
