Great bbq place in SF. The host is very nice and introduced me all kinds of meat on menu, and since I came only myself, I chose the kalbi chuck, ox tongue, squid and mix vege. Great size for one person! And really delicious. Love the meat and vege

This place is fantastic! It’s literally one of my favorite places in San Francisco. The meat is great quality, and the staff is so friendly. The theme is really quaint inside and we love exploring the menu. Make sure to come for happy hour, which offers discounts on food and drinks daily before 7 p.m. and after 10 p.m. Overall you won’t go wrong with choosing Camp. Plus, the music inside is always awesome. 🙂

Came here for my brothers birthday dinner! We saw pics of their meat on Yelp and was immediately enamoured. And the meat did not disappoint! Our favorites were the kobe Toro, Kobe ox tongue, and Angus rib eye. We ordered about 4 to 6 of each among the four of us. It is not all you can eat, but the quality of meat is so good. Like SO GOOD. Just look at that marble. This is a Japanese style yakiniku compared to the usual korean bbq that you see around the city. You won’t regret it!

If you are looking for the best BBQ in San Francisco, this is the place bar none. Camp features Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and handily beats all (Korean) BBQ spots in the Bay Area; in fact, Camp belongs high on the list top top BBQ in California (including LA’s renown Korean BBQ scene). No, this is not Korean BBQ, but if you are in to that you will absolutely love Yakiniku at Camp and the quality of their ingredients. The vibe is great, the people are nice, and the protein selection is extensive. PLUS they have S’MORES!

We lived in Japan for 3 years and loved eating yakiniku. This took us back! Very clean and the food was delicious. Service was excellent. We came at 7pm on a Saturday and it was about 1/2 full. We had reservations at 8pm, but got there early and they were able to accommodate us. We live in Washington state, but visit here 1 or 2 times per year. We’ll be back.

Great food! Real Japanese style Yakiniku. I highly recommend the Angus hanger steak marinated in miso.

Not only was the food incredible (I must say I’m one hell of a bbq’er, my compliments to the prep chef staff) but the staff was friendly, kind and extremely attentive. Atmosphere was inviting and hip and the prices were great as well. Highly recommend, especially if you want a great night out with some great friends and are mildly competitive with your BBQ culinary ability (for sure I made the best hanger steak of the night yo).

Excellent quality meat for the price! But the meat really is delicious, the marinades are perfectly flavorful without being too much. You can still taste the flavor of the meat. Incredibly tender. The fried cauliflower app is really good and light. The cripsy calamari not so much. Loved the Kobe Toro, Kobe hangar steak, and the Kobe short ribs. Really awesome find!

This place has a good selection of meats, Terry the Kobe for a treat or the NY Angus for a cost benefit choice.

Very good prices, excellent ventilation, great service. Feels a little like Japan. Would like an option for ginger scallion oil.
