My wife took me for dinner for my birthday and I have to say it was the biggest disappointment for me. We were seated to eat and fairly quickly received our drinks . I ordered Eggplant Parmesan and asked for cappellini and the waitress said that they only had spaghetti. I said Ok and then asked for extra sauce with my dinner and it came with not extra sauce and no Italian bread. All of the eggplant was so hard that I could not even cut it with my fork. It could not eat any of it and my wife felt very bad. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and and asked of I wanted my dish to go without a concern that I had not eaten any of it. I looked with frustration and said no. I was flabbergasted that the waitress asked of I wanted a full dish to go. I was so upset that I decided not to complain and crossed this restaurant off of my future list. I am not sure how any competent cook would not know that the food that they were serving was so hard that you could not cut it.

Apologizes for not taking photos right away, another place we just went to on a whim, I did not even think about reviewing them until after I thought about how delicious the food was. If you’re ever in the Lockport neighborhood, or just want to take a nice drive ( depending on the time check and see if you can get a reservation ), we highly recommend you go here. . . ….

I’m new to town and was craving Italian food and well then there was Cammarata’s! I stopped in on a whim, close to closing. The staff was so welcoming and the owner Bob even introduced himself and was checking in with other guest to make sure they were taken care of. Now for the food : Excellent portions! Delicious. Everything is so fresh and tasty! Their sauce is on point. They have earned a new regular!
