This little place is great! The food was delicious, I had the special of the day which was seafood nachos. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

We are from TN and were in town visiting family. We ate dinner there Thursday night and came back for breakfast Saturday morning before we headed home. The dinner portions were huge and absolutely delicious! The breakfast buffet was so good and a great deal as well! You could go back & get as much as you wanted. You could also add eggs cooked to order or several different types of omelets that were included in the price of the buffet. My wife is EXTREMELY picky about bacon & most of the time on a buffet it is undercooked however the bacon today was, as she said, absolutely perfect! The staff and owner are incredibly friendly as well! Will definitely visit again the next time we are in town!!

Early bird specials $6 can’t beat it and very delicious. Husband and wife owned and run so extra care is given to the food. Staff is very friendly and service is great. Looks like a small place but its not. They also have a buffet and a large selection of deserts. Yum!

This place has been in Slidell for years and the food has always been consistently delicious as well as the service. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered mozzarella triangles for the appetizer they were the best I’ve ever eaten with a soft crust and creamy cheese. The food arrived at the table fresh and hot before we were finished with our appetizer. There’s not one negative thing I can say about the experience the restaurant and the rest rooms were spotless we were greeted as we arrived and when we left. I recommend Camilia Cafe to anyone

The Mother’s Day Buffet was Awesome! I wanted to try EVERYTHING! It was difficult to choose. I felt so Pampered, because the Servers fill your plate. I got the Glazed Duck. It was perfect bite size, tender pieces covered in a sweet glaze. The Shrimp Squash Casserole was To Die For! The Eggs Benedict on the buffet were cooked perfectly. Even though Eggs-to-Order was offered, it wasn’t necessary. Every table had a Coffee Carafe, so the friendly staff could attend to everyone non-stop. Then the Desserts! So difficult to choose, but I opted for a light Whipped Strawberry treat that perfectly ended a fabulous meal. It’s a Small Cafe that is often chaotic due to the size. But, it’s worth the wait!

Good lunch special, always something different on the Menu to select from. Warm down home cooking. I had the fish and shrimp platter, and mashed potatoes I have never gotten bad food from here,

Servers were friendly to everyone else, maybe because we were not regulars. Buffet was ok, but I ordered two eggs over medium, they were over easy at best. No refills on water or coffee. Had to pay at register when no one else did. Asked for napkins, did not get any. Will not be back.

The buffet was presented well, but the food was fake eggs and could tell everything was from a packet. Very disappointed, drove 40 min to try this place. If they would at least have real eggs I could have managed, the biscuits and gravy where worse than my wife’s. And she uses a packet lol 13 dollars plus drink for buffet and it is very limited*** since owners reply. The eggs were not real eggs. Can taste the difference. I took one bite of them and one of the biscuits and gravy, was done. Could not eat anymore. Reading thru the other reviews, I am not alone. Cost for a family of 4 almost 60 dollars. For breakfast…. that I could not eat. This was my plate how I left it. For those who want to try it… eh I wouldn’t

First and last time for breakfast here,Had the breakfast so called buffet. It’s not like a real buffet a guy behind the counter gives you what you want,if you want more he looks at you like your making trouble. The bacon is so salty I couldn’t eat it and not much of a choice for other stuff
