We were looking for a nice Italian meal in Hudson and stopped by Ca’Mea. Needless to say, the experience was excellent!

Situated along historic Warren st. The restaurant mostly grey interior has spacious tables and a very inviting bar area. The service was top tier and their sauce was on point. I ordered the eggplant parmesan which was tasty, except I expected the eggplant was a little dry and has very little sauce and cheeses in between the layers. Solved this by adding more Italian tomato based sauce that came with the dish. Highly recommended for authentic Italian meals

We celebrated my nieces baby shower here and the restaurant catered the entire event. The food and wait staff was outstanding. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and inviting and an excellent time was had by all. I highly recommend this restaurant for any of your personal or private events I have no doubt you will be extremely satisfied.

We had the pleasure of dining at Ca Mea around Thanksgiving time. It’s an absolutely lovely restaurant with a great wine selection, very good food and a knowledgeable and friendly wait-staff. We enjoyed everything we ate which included a ceasar salad, fresh papardelle with wild mushrooms, steak and green beans and tiramisu. The tiramisu could have used more espresso, but it was tasty. It is a formal restaurant, so kids are ok if they know how to behave well. Parking is on the street.

NY strip with mashed & broccoli rabe – so good! It’s great that they can give serve you vegan dishes upon request. My sister is vegan so it’s a great convenience for us. They also have a wide range of wine selection!

A mid-range/price restaurant clearly well-loved by its local neighbours who pack the place, even midweek when we went. Lots of classics to comfort you such as chicken parmigiana alongside specials and seasons additions. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe round out a very pleasant place to spend an evening.

Worst food establishment ever – our family had a terrible experience at this overpriced dump. They must pay for their 5 star reviews. The service was bad and came with a hearty serving of rude attitude. The food was even worse! We returned our lamb chops as they were charred black, shrunken down and inedible (we ordered the chops to be cooked medium). The eggplant parmesan had no eggplant in it (just oily burnt yet soggy breadcrumb crust). The salmon had a nasty spoiled fish smell and taste to it. When we confronted the server we were offered boiled pasta as a replacement- absurd. We paid full price for the meal even though we sent the burnt lamb chops right back. Instead of resolving the issue, their attitude was that it’s not their problem we don’t like our meat charred. No apologies from the owner just distant dirty looks toward our table. We have never been so disrespected and any establishment that treats paying customers in such a manner should be shut down. The profoundly rude, stupid and unprofessional owner refused to reimburse us for the burned dish we returned, so we will be disputing this with our credit card. A restaurant that charges $16 for a simple iceberg salad which you get for free in any diner is a crooked establishment. Don’t spend your money and time at this dump, it’s truly horrendous. You have been warned.

Weirdly bad. A shame cause it’s highly rated but for whatever reason, the service wasn’t great. The impression we got was that they’re understaffed, and I’m imagining that for the cost of the food the staff is probably underpaid, which of course leads to resentment, which of course leads to a bad experience for customers. I highly doubt the wait staff are colluding or incompetent – our waitress knew the entire menu off the top of her head. Anyway, for the prices, the food wasn’t anything to write home about. Desserts were pretty good, boar pasta was meh. Pasta itself cooked perfectly but just kinda dusty tasting.

Food was delicious. Service very good. Their was always someone coming to our table to see how we were doing. Walking distance from most hotels including ours. If I’m back in the area I’ll be stopping by.

The food was absolutely amazing in every respect and the outdoor back patio is the most wonderful place to share a meal with a loved one!
