This taco shop has an amazing owner, who cares about his customers and his food. The Carne Asada fries were delicious and a great size for the price. I look forward to trying the California burrito next! Good food and good service! The Carne Asada fries came with sour cream, guacamole(I like it on the side), beans, and cheese! Huge portion and worth the money!

There are many places to have Mexican food, but Calixto is excellent. It is refreshing to find a restaurant where pride us taken in employees appearance, clean environment, cheerful greeting, and delicious food.. Vegetables are fresh, salsa is great (several types) vibrant. Fish tacos were perfect! Fish was fresh, batter light and tasty. There are only a small handful of great places for this in the area but Calixto is on my top three locally. Bravo!

Unique flavors. IMO: The red salsa was kind of sweet. Had to add salt to my fries. The Carne was definitely Himalayan, so some type of lamb or goat is usually my guess. Staff and atmosphere is very nice though!

We got the carne asada mini tacos, they were amazing, the came with canalized onions on the side. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful, the service and food are amazing I will definitely be coming back here.

I got the ceviche and it was really good, it’s made fresh. Also the carne asada tacos was delicious. And Adrian the cashier went above and beyond with service.

Hours not accurate, picked this place so I can eat while I do laundry, 30 minutes after the time it’s supposed to be open, still not open nobody even in the store none the less getting the place ready to be open. Can’t say I would recommend a place that doesn’t respect their own operating hours.
