The food here is authentic, so if you are not used to the real deal don’t go. The rice and beans taste just like my Moms. My favorite is the hard . Although everything is delicious. Dont expect fancy seating, just good food.

If I could give 0 I would. I placed my order at this location by accident and I called asking for a refund being very polite I may add and was spoken to very rudely, and hung up on! I had to call back a second time to unfortunately ask for a manager (it’s a last resort for me personally being a manager myself) and they told me no manager would be on until tomorrow! Now I fear I may never see my $50 back because usually businesses can’t refund after checks have been closed for a day. Very upset because we were excited to even try this place. So it’s a 0 star rating for me.

First time eating here. 3 stars because being from Southern CA, moved to the East coast 8 months ago, I was super excited to see enchiladas. More excited for the enchilada burrito (wet burrito). Ordered the seafood burrito which was under the enchilada burrito section, but couldn’t have it that way…why? Your only putting enchilada sauce and cheese on top. Server suggested steak and shrimp .

Don’t get confused, California taco shop’s OTHER locations are delicious. This is the only one I been to that’s very bad (Plainfield st). Order was 100% wrong, food always taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill or something with old ingredients. Visit the other locations (Manton Ave near by is delicious)
