If you’ve never been to this place, do yourself a favor and hit it up. We used to frequent the one in Orange on Chapman but I have this location closer to me now. Can’t beat the massive burritos. Try to gigantic Angel burrito or the Cali…I prefer to put potatoes vs French fries but they’re both super good. Free salsas, jalapeños and carrots to go along with your food. Dont forget the Cali sauce!!

It’s always good. The rolled tacos are some of the best. The Cali Burrito is a meal in itself. Never had a bad meal from here. Just note that it does get busy, and you will have to wait. It is worse if the Angels have a home game it is a pre-game post-game stop. Well worth the wait!

Amazing food. I love their burritos, hubby gets the tacos. It’s always fresh and you get huge portions. I usually get food to go. The dinning room isn’t anything special, fully functional and clean but I’d rather pig out in the privacy of my own home.

We have come here many times before, and the staff has generally been nice and responsive, except for today. When ordering, the cashier Nataly E. input the wrong item (burrito instead of taco), which cost more. When pointing out this mistake, the cashier replaced the burrito with the correct taco, yet refused to give a refund and ignored us when approached. After being pressed about it multiple times, she finally relented yet still did not refund the whole amount and accused us of being the problem. Either she can’t count or deliberately stiffed us on the refund. I wish this was not the experience we had today at our favorite mexican restaurant.

As a Bay Area native, Cali Tacos comes the closest to the mouth-watering Cal-Mex we are blessed with up north. They even have San José’s famous La Vic’s orange sauce. Delicious!

Been to both locations. Like this one looks better but somehow i felt the food was better at the other. I had a bomb fish taco. We got the Cali fries but they were okay. It was like they were missing something. The carnitas taco my friend ordered she really liked.

Big Breakfast burritos were great. Steak is nice and tender. Breakfast burritos all contain egg and cheese inside and you pick from a list of 2 items to add. If you pick 2 proteins you can add potatos/hash for $1.10. Medium and hot salsa was good. Hot was spicy and smokey. Nice big space inside and a patio. Will be going back and recommend people to give them a try because you won’t be disappointed.

I give the asada a 9 because it’s not drenched in oil and cuts are decently sliced but could use lil bit more flavor. The items a reasonably price and u get a very good amount of food. Definitely recommend over other Mexican restaurants in the area
