The pizza was a 7 out of 10. It took a really long time for our pizza to arrive at our table. Maybe a half an hour, if not a bit longer. When I eat there again, I will call in the order in advance. The staff was fine. The inside is stale, but I really don’t care about the decor as much as I do about the food. If you are hungry for pizza, Calgaro’s is just fine.

Hole in the wall pizza joint. Open seating and a friendly staff. Ordered a large custom pizza with lots of toppings. When the chef brought it out he said it stuck to the pan and since it was a bit messy they were making another one for free!!! They definitely did not have to do that. Got to have lots of leftovers the next day. Everything was delicious. Especially the fried mushrooms

We stayed at Sterret Creek Marina hotel this past weekend and had a pizza craving. Called around and nobody delivered there. I called Calgaros pizza expecting the same answer, instead they said they don’t typically deliver there but would make an exception. Sure enough, 45 minutes later we had an all meat pizza, poppers, and fried mushrooms delivered to our room. Turns out, the owner himself made the delivery since they were short staffed. We dug in and it was fantastic. One of the better thin crust pizzas we have had. We will definitely be visiting their restaurant next time we are in town. Great service and even better food. Yes it’s a bit pricier than let’s say…Pizza Hut…but between the service and quality and deliciousness….100% worth it. Shout out to the owner who stepped it up and delivered.

The pizzas are delicious and made with ingredients brought in from Chicago. We always order a pizza to go for guests visiting from out of town. The dining area generally smells smoky though and lacks atmosphere. The menu is poorly designed and hard to understand, but the food is fabulous! Our favorites are the meatball pizza and antipasto salad.

Waited over an hour for our food not to be delivered. 2 other tables served after us even though they came in after us! Ordered an appetizer and side salads and yet the other 2 tables were served before us. Only 1 server for the entire restaurant! Not her fault just the managers fault for lack of staffing! Very disappointed!!
