This place is by far the best in the area you’re gonna want to come back again and again. The staff, the food the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. My new favorite place. Don Chef’s is horrible we left and came here glad we did way better all the way around.

Calera provides a good mix of authentic and Tex-Mex cuisine. The dining room and bathroom sparkled. The chips and salsa were as delicious delicious as was the rest of our meals. For my preference, the consistency of the refried beans were a bit runny, but still had a good flavor. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Calesa.

Absolutely delicious. The pambazo was amazing. The beef and chicken fajita meat was perfectly seasoned. The flautas were wonderful. We were taking a leisurely drive from Lindale and decided to give it a try. It appears to be a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant (which we’re attracted to) but it’s beautiful inside! Fast service, constant communication. We will be back!

When I moved to the north Dallas area 4 years ago from across the country, I was very excited about the delicious Mexican and Tex-Mex food that awaited. Unfortunately, every place I’ve tried (and there are MANY) has disappointed and not lived up to expectations. Too may places are taking shortcuts, serving not-so-fresh food, and using mass produced ingredients.

Need more help. One lady did everything outside the kitchen; seated guest, took orders, served, bused tables and cashier. Nice lady but did not understand a lot of English. When my wife asked for a napkin, she had to ask someone in Spanish what she wanted. Another customer asked her to explain his bill, she just said “I don’t know. ” overall the meal was okay, dining area was as clean as possible. We did like the decor. Nothing made us in a big hurry to return.

Quaint little dining area, casual. Food was great and dessert was amazing- all fresh and made in house. We love to dine local and will definitely go back

The wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast and were glad we did. Food was great and the restaurant was spotless from top to bottom. We ordered the special (it was Sunday…I forget the name because I’m just not smart) and it was delicious! We also got a piece of Tres Leches cake on the way out and it was excellent as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing authentic food. Great atmosphere. Great portions especially for the price point. Our server was very nice and attentive. You HAVE to stop at the dessert counter on your way out. 10/10 on everything!
