We found this while visiting and assumed it would be a bit more of a restaurant experience than it was. It’s a food truck that has a building and has same food truck concept and pricing. 3 small tables inside and few outside.

As close to eating back in Louisiana as I can possibly get. Loved everything and the service is excellent. I see a lot of reviews about the Mac and Cheese and I’m thinking it’s a cultural thing. Some kinds of folks like baked Mac n cheese which is a bit thicker than the “creamy loose mac” that some other people are accustomed to. With that being said, it was the best Mac I’ve had in a while because so many places make it creamy and I don’t prefer that. I’ll be back. Everything is flavorful! Zero complaints ✨️

The chicken gumbo has a subtle taste and a pinch of seasoning 2/5, the tacos were zesty the fish was coated well and had a nice crunch to it. There’s shredded chicken in it and dirty rice i assume the slaw on top with that lol orange sauce didn’t do it for me. I tried it as a taco and each element alone it was just vey sour & not good. I had 2 others come and taste test everything to ensure it wasn’t just me. The stuffed turkeys leg was massive & the were not fans it lacked flavor and the appearance was not very appetizing. The color of the stuffing was a stovetop with sage feeling. The gravy on top was thick and bland but the shrimp was good to them. Let’s end on a high the service was top notch and the beignets were a sweet pillowy treat.

I love the food here. The catfish is absolutely amazing and the gumbo. They continue to check on you and they remember your name. Definitely a place to try. If I was to say anything negative. I ordered the tea, and it was bottled Pure Tea. I would have preferred brewed tea. So, hopefully, they start brewing tea the way Texas like it. Other than that, food wins it all.

The BEST!! Phenomenal food and service. We felt at home and welcome the second we walked in. We had the dirty south tacos, shrimp po boy, and beignets, and all three were absolutely amazing (best po boy we’ve ever tasted). If you’re considering trying this place, just go – you won’t regret it! We’ll be back for sure.

Very tasty Cajun food! Great dark & spicy gumbo. Shrimp were lightly fried with tangy cocktail sauce.

Fabulous food, we went with 2 other couples and all raved about the food. I had the blackened shrimp with a jambalaya side. The place is small but the people there went out of their way to make a place for 6. There were many people coming in for to-go orders so the place does a great business. Definitely will go back and bring others that like Cajun food. Also want to try their bigger place in Temple.

If it’s Cajun food, I have to try it! The reviews don’t lie people! Cajun Skillet is a 5 star restaurant, and I can’t wait until the Temple location is open. We walked in as they opened, and we were immediately welcomed in by the workers. The guy working the register was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave some great recommendations! After three Olivia’s, a Hot Sausage Po Boy, a daiquiri, two basil lemonades, an order of beignets, and a peach bread pudding, it was all demolished! I can appreciate all the fresh flavors I tasted in the Olivia. If you know good cajun food, you know it starts with the, “holy trinity.” Must try if you are in the Cedar Park area. “BLACK OWNED BUSINESS”
