Worth the extra off the road to find this place…. Driving thru and found this mom n pop food mart with great service and food. Made fresh to order. Had the half n half shrimp and fish. Roast beef sandwich and gumbo to go. It was very delicious and was back on the road within 15 minutes.

I had to go 2 days in a row for the roast beef with gravy Po boy. This is the best poeboye I have had. It is fantastic. I’ll be going back again and again. I’m addicted to this new sandwich

The food was pretty good. I ordered a shrimp poboy and fried rice. I asked for the lettuce, tomato and pickles to be out on the side but they wouldn’t do it, which is why I gave 4 stars for the service instead of 5. She said the cook won’t put anything on the side. I got the poboy anyway and it was decent. Their shrimp fried rice was pretty good too. It don’t have vegtables, it only has grilled onions and eggs, but that’s fine with me. It tasted really good. The shrimp were very bright red, I think they might put red food coloring on them for the fried rice. That’s something unique that I have never seen anyone else do.

The gumbo was soooo good it reminded of my mom’s. Absolutely delicious and the nice man and women who work there are equally as pleasant.

This was the worst fried rice I have ever had. Without question. I’ve never been more disappointed in food before. They need to take this off the menu.

thought we were somewhere else. Small popular place. Ate lunch, po-boy hamburger and fries. It was actually pretty good. Only a couple of tables. Looked like a store/ fast food combined. The only negative, the one lady that greeted us spoke with a very strong Asian accent that we could hardly understand, then she went to get her partner, we could understand him a little easier. A lot of people came by. Over all not bad for a whole in the wall.

Got the shrimp poboy that was recommended by a waiting customer they may have like it but I didnt.. shrimp and bread (sandwiched) don’t work for me but wanted to try wat was recommended. I should of listened to the cashier and got the roast beef. And those 4 for 5$ pork egg rolls was aight. Wouldn’t go out of my way for them tho.. ijs

I feel that everyone should experience this place for themselves at least once to know how good their food is. Everything on the menu is cooked with love. The gumbo is absolutely out if this world. The fish sandwich is also the bomb, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, pickles is you like as well. Fresh fish and only 5 bucks. When I say they are the best unheard of short stop eatery on the coast. They are just that. If you are ever close enough to check them out please do so you and your family or friends will be very very very pleased.

Shrimp poboy was okay. Roast beef was terrible. And there was more celery in the gumbo than should have been in the entire batch of gumbo

Takes me 30 min so I attempted to place a to go order. They proceeded to get so frustrated they hung up on me due to a misunderstanding with their English over SIDES. I did not want one in the first place. They insisted. Eventually I told them to pick one at random. They refused and told me to come in. Always been a wait for food so I refused because I didn’t want to spend 90 minutes for something I could get anywhere on the coast. They recommended I go somewhere else so that’s precisely what I did.
