Our pasta dishes were delicious! The only problem with our dinning experience was that we had to wait for an hour or so for our entrees. They were way behind in the kitchen but they did rectify it by gaving us our two desserts for the delay. Over all the service staffs were fantastic and friendly.

Fine dining in Ahwatukee…….on a Monday night!!!!! What a wonderful evening sitting outdoors on the patio during a rare thunderstorm thar actually delivered some decent rain. We chose two of the specials offered and were thoroughly satisfied with the flavor and the generous portions. Cafe Boa has very delicious food and great service. We paired our meals with a lovely Pinot Noir from the Russian River region in California. If you haven’t been to this restaurant in a while or you are a potential first timer, give these guys a try. Don’t forget to check our their specials in addition to the great menu!

Stopped in a couple Saturdays ago as I was craving pasta and a close friend referred me to Caffe Boa. I am glad she did! We arrived relatively early for dinner, probably around 4:15ish and the place was almost empty.

Today was our first visit to Caffe Boa and I am so happy we went. Excellent service, big portions, awesome prices and incredible food. Very clean. The $100 cake was delicious. Absolutely a must go! I love to support local businesses and this one is a small family owned business.

WOW. Thought it was going to be a lessor experience… what a surprise!!! The food was beyond expectations. Sauses on the pasta were memorable. Lemon drop Martini was beautifully created. The butter cake, which is a must, was the final touch on the masterpiece. So impressed!!! We will be back be with friends. Decor and ambiance was spot on. Server Amanda was amazing. They were short staffed and she was overloaded with tables but she handled it beautifully. She was what made the 5 stars a true 5 stars.

Overall impression of Caffe Boa was “meh”. Our server, Jess, was terrific! We were thankful to have her help us out. The great: the aioli dip that comes with the bread is addictive!!! Also great: good wine selections. We each had a couple glasses. The OK: the lasagna was very under-seasoned and bland. It was just not very good. This will sound terrible, but it reminded both of us of cafeteria food. It may have been the ground beef, we should have paid more attention as Italian sausage is definitely a preference. The “meh”: Linguine Adriatico. The shrimp was really overcooked and chewy. The sauce was super bland. I expected garlic and richness, but all I really got was a hint of watery tomato sauce… However, the pasta was perfectly cooked. I was thankful for the cracked pepper and grated cheese Jess added. Took it home and threw it out because the shrimp was already ruined. The BAD: literally the worst calamari we have ever had anywhere. It was so overcooked and rubbery, which was too bad because their sauce and that bread aioli would have been wonderful to dip it in.

Caffe Boa has to be one of the most underrated restaurants in town. Nestled in an unassuming strip mall, it’s anything but unassuming.
