Cafe Zack has been our family’s favorite for over two decades. We can always depend on their amazing menu (best filet mignon in Ventura County!), great wine list, and friendly service. Whether it’s a special date night with your love, or a big family dinner, they can accommodate your needs. Most recently, we celebrated our son’s recent engagement – We asked him where they wanted to go for their special dinner and of course he said, “Cafe Zack!” since he’s been coming here since he was a baby.

First time here. We were pleasantly surprised by just how delicious the food was! We split a Tuscany salad. Then my wife had the Flat Iron Steak with Aglio Olio Pasta. The steak was very tasty and cooked to her liking. I had the Filet Mignon with Porcini Mushroom sauce. It was very flavorful. Even the roasted potatoes were delicious. For dessert we shared the baked apple tart. Also very good. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Had an amazing meal at this spot, I had the roasted wild boar shank, she had the lobster ravioli and both meals were superb. Was surprised on my birthday and traveled from Santa Barbara to Ventura. An absolute gem. Do not miss out on this special place! Oh and crab cakes were on point also!

Wow this place is 5 stars all around. We found it by chance while passing by Ventura on a motorcycle trip down South. The food is incredible. Staff is super friendly and polite. We had some soup and salad to begin, which were both amazing. I ordered the curry seafood fettuccine. It was the first time I had curry sauce with seafood pasta and I’m glad I did. The owner stopped by to chat with us and shaed his amazing life story. People work hard here and they have a great team. Give this place a try.

Cozy, quiet Cafe Zack is a great place for intimate lunches or dinners with a little bit of a European feel. The food was definitely above average, all meals served were visually and tastefully attractive. Wait staff and employees and accommodating and friendly. Good place to eat in Ventura.

Our food was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. That can be a challenge with a dish like fish where the ingredients cook at different times. The service was wonderful, welcoming, and personal. We’ll definitely be back!
