So many details. I was happily surprised by this beautiful restaurant that was once a stark venue, easy to miss on Springfield Avenue. BYOB accompanies delicious food with layers and layers of flavor, homemade pastas and desserts, the most tenderest pork chop, fresh fish-delicate Sea Bass, beautiful presentations. Picture perfect entrees but I was too busy eating to take a photo. Small things-details, extra-large ice cubes, hot milk for the coffee and the prettiest restaurant bathroom I have ever been to. Service was very attentive with Tony and Bona checking in on our experience.

4.5 stars. This is a small, intimate spot great for celebrating special occasions or just having a nice meal. It’s a very good value for the ambience. I took my mother and MIL here as a late mother’s day meal. We started with the burrata and calamari which was fried. Both appetizers were the highlight of the meal. I could not get enough of the burrata on the salad, and the calamari was fried to perfection.

Café Vincotto is a wonderful addition to the culinary community of Berkeley Heights. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Bona, was warm and genuine, which made the food even more delicious. A must try if you’re in the neighborhood. My husband and I had the specials, halibut and filet mignon…both were superb save the polenta that came with the filet. I would personally go creamy rather than “cacky” but still no regrets. We had the baklava for dessert. Best flavor but difficult to cut into. May need to ask for a knife. Overall, excellent dinning experience.

Went here for a date night with my husband, and I am so glad we did! Absolutely lovely and cozy atmosphere with the most welcoming staff. It was our first time there, and we felt so at home and comfortable. The food just WOW from the calamari to the beet salad fresh both out of this world. I had the Vincotto chicken, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the short ribs, which did not disappoint my husband’s plate was clean! Tender and again perfectly flavored. We finished sharing the flour less chocolate cake. I did not even have a chance to take a picture he dug right in and didn’t stop! Already booking reservations for our next night here!! Thank you, Cafe Vincotto, for an incredible dining experience!!

My new favorite restaurant in Berkeley Heights, I’ve been there many times and each time is better than the last. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the staff, every dish I have ever had there has been outstanding. As a person with food allergies, Tony and his staff goes above and beyond to ensure my safety and well being is of the utmost importance. Best calamari I have EVER had!

We have wanted to try Cafe Vincotto since it opened, but we were caring for my elderly mom and couldn’t get away. Sadly Mom passed away last month, so for the first time in nearly a year, were able to dine out. We knew our first excursion would be to Cafe Vincotto, based on the photos and the reviews, and we made the right decision!

I work in New Providence and live in Peapack so sometimes I take the local road home and passed Cafe Vincotto several times and it looked like a cute place. My Wife & I had an appointment in NYC today so we decided to get off the highway early and give it a try. We met Toni, the owner in the parking lot and he welcomed us with open arms. It has only been open about 3 months now, but the renovations are fresh, new, clean, and modern. It was early in the afternoon and the Chef, Stephen, came out and introduced himself and explained all his favorites to us. My Wife decided on the Red Snapper and I went with the Salmon. The fish was cooked crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. Our server Bona was pleasant and excited about their opening so far and hoping word of mouth gets the word out. It’s a BYOB and I’m here to tell you it’s worth the trip. I look forward to Stephen’s creations going forward and can’t wait to go back. Enjoy!
