Cafe trang is a delicious Vietnamese restaurant in American fork (with other locations across the state) and is always a great experience.

Tucked away just off the freeway in the strip mall on the east side. The atmosphere was inviting with fresh plants and every table was full. We chose to mix the Jasmine rice with the noodles with coconut curry chicken. Be sure to order extra sauces on the side. My favorite was the chai coconut water.

This place was really good. I ordered the vermicelli bowl with an extra cha gio. Every item on my bowl was delicious. The nuoc mam wasn’t as strong as I like it. I like mine pungent especially for a vermicelli bowl. 10/10 recommend. I really enjoyed how clean and maintained the whole restaurant is. I will definitely come back to try their other items on the menu.

We got an order to go. It’s cute inside, and I liked the plants. My husband thinks it looks too much like a cafeteria. We got pho, shrimp spring rolls, and cream cheese wantons. He loved the wantons but they were too thin and a little soggy for me. The spring rolls were thick and sauce was good. The pho was very tasty. I would eat here again.

I got the rice bowl with BBQ pork and an egg roll. It came with a salad and a spicy (about 2/5) sauce that I poured over everything. Tasty and healthy is a great combination that I look for in a restaurant.

First time at this location! I’ve gone to the Lehi Traverse Mountain location a few times before so I knew what to expect.

The Pho here is decent. I like the broth and the chilli oil. My only complaint which is why I gave it a 4 star is the fact that they don’t provide a real Pho soup spoon. It is a flimsy tiny plastic spoon that you’d use for a toddler. It barely fits any soup in the spoon. You can look at my pictures for a reference.

I would say this place is like the McDonald’s of Asian food. I got the noodles with fried tofu and shrimp and I got some honey shrimp on the side for the appetizer. The honey shrimp was okay. The main dish that was just bland. The noodles were nothing special it was very plain and the so-called vegetables that they added to my bowl felt like something you would find from McDonald’s. At an Asian restaurant, I’m expecting steamed vegetables. Not the gross lettuce you buy at the store for big gatherings.
