My friend and I went to lunch here because the many other restaurants on the street seemed too crowded. The interior decor (and music) was seriously lacking, and the place was almost empty. Because of this, I expected the food to be pretty mediocre. I was very wrong.

I’m a local who has been here twice. Both times I ordered a salad and French onion soup. I loved the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and the soup was good too. I have enjoyed both visits, but I will echo some of the other comments about slow service and not enough wait staff. The second time I was there the place was packed. My server seemed to be the only one working, but was most pleasant and accommodating. The desserts that I’ve had there are amazing!

Stopped in on the way out of town. Had croissant sandwich and it was great. 2 out of the 3 servers were extremely friendly. The 3rd was having a bad day apparently. But no worries, our server, Candice, made up for it! Also had coffee cake which was very good. Would go back when in town again.

I’m excluding my entree from the 4-star rating. I got the flounder special but it was mushy and over-sauced. (A cup of sauce for 4oz of fish? Really?)

I have a business less than a block away, and we eat at Cafe Saint-Amand regularly. We have never had a meal that was not delicious. The restaurant has been recently remodeled and dinner service just added. The new dinner menu is fantastic, and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Do not hesitate to try this restaurant. I recommend it highly to all of my customers. Sometimes the kitchen is a bit slow, but the quality of the food that comes out of it is 100% worth the wait. Bon appetit!

I am a local and I have ate there 2 times so far. Once it wasn’t very busy and another it was but, still didn’t take very long to get a booth. I’ve only been there for breakfast and both times it was very good..last time I got the Oeufs Florentine (Eggs florentine) and it was amazing!! I also tried their crème brulee for the first time and it was oooh so good! They served it with fresh fruit (strawberries and blue berries) and it was to die for! 😀 Can’t wait to go back again!!

Pathetic excuse for a restaurant. Since it opened I have been there many times and each time it got worse. We took friends and the wait for food was extremely long, salads were wilted and then during dinner besides spraying us with cleaner as she wiped the table the waitress vacuumed the floor right next to us.

Went here once…horrible burnt coffee. Tried one more time. Walked in a couple minutes after ckose, with patrons still in the restaurant, for a quick cappuccino. The response I get was “sorry sir, we close at 3 pm”. It was 3:05.

Very good! We go for breakfast frequently on Sundays! It’s always packed…. yet we still get seated in a timely manner… We’ve tried many of the menu items and all have been good.

Only 6 tables full with 3 servers and took 20 minutes to get beverages. An hour before food. Im ok with that timeline when busy and if food is good/ difficult. French dip and a monte christo was our entire order and it was mediocre at best.
