Me and my son came in town for a basketball tournament and this morning we were looking for some good breakfast to get , This place was right down the street from the sports facility we were playing at .The food was really good , Especially the Cinnamon French toast , Our waitress was very tentative. If your in town try this place .

I’ve been here a few times early in the morning and I’ve always enjoyed each if my stops here. The chicken and waffles are good, the cottage cheese is good, the french toast is good, frankly if I had mire time, I’d try everything that grabs my attention here if my wallet was bigger. This is a terrific place for Lewis University students to come here to have breakfast at a reasonable price.

One thing about this place, is their sign on the corner. Instead of welcoming you or telling of some specials, for the last 3 years, all it says, is “now hiring servers”. What’s up with that? Why is it so hard for them to find servers? The last time I was in there for breakfast, which will be the last time I go there, the entire wait staff appeared to have an average age of 12 or 13 years old. For a skillet and coffee, it was 20+ dollars. The meat in the skillet didn’t taste right and the chunks of ham had a funny color and texture to them. My go to for breakfast is George’s in Lockport or Bee Brothers in Romeoville. It’s no surprise Romeo Cafes parking lot is usually empty.

This was our first time here. All of the food was delicious! Our server was prompt and friendly. It seemed like a family owned business. Restaurant and bathroom were clean. Would definitely go back! My kids had hot chocolate, chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, chicken tenders and fries. I had a gyro with fries and my mom had Popeye panini.

Hairy food. Some of my order was missing in the take out bag (I should have checked before I left). Need to improve on orders over the phone. Once the guy took my order he just simply hung up on me without saying anything and telling me how long they will need to make my order. Never again

Chilly day, went in for soup and they were out. Guess I wasn’t the only one who wanted soup today.

Great place, the only thing was the eggs. Benedict was cooked incorrectly, but everything else is great.

We love this place. The chefs are friendly. The service is 5 star and the green beans are worthy of a repeat.
