Famous Cafe Rio Fan Favorites
Sweet Pork Barbacoa
Welcome to the Home of the Original Sweet Pork Barbacoa! It’s quite possible our Sweet Pork could be outlawed for being too addictive. This delightful goodness is slow-simmered for hours in our secret spices until ready to tempt your taste buds. Make sure to stop by and try out this signature taste that made us famous! #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Creamy Tomatillo Dressing
It’s been said that our Creamy Tomatillo Dressing should be its own food group. Sure it’s great on our salads, but people love them on our tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chips, and even by the spoonful. Our Creamy Tomatillo is made from tomatillos, jalapenos, salsa fresca, cilantro, and a blend of flavor-packed spices. #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Chips & Queso
We know. Hot melted cheese is totally awesome. But our queso is made even more awesome by our mix of Mexican peppers and spices. Better get extra chips. #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Enchilada Style Burrito
Say hello to the enchilada-style Burrito. If you didn’t bring a knife and fork, that’s ok. We’ve got one for you. You’ll need it. A fresh, homemade tortilla is packed full with black or pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, and your choice of protein. Then, we smother it with cheese and one of our signature sauces and bake it to perfection. Your life will never be the same! #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio

Great restaurant for sure. Best taco I have ever had, and the guacamole was great as well. They also have some very good house drinks (looking at you, mint limeade). Highly recommend. It’s inexpensive, too!

It pains me to write a bad review, especially for a restaurant chain that I love… but my experience was so bad that I have to share.

The staff were super hospitable, helpful, cheerful and engaging with customers. The manager was super cool. (Not sure what his name was. He had the hat with the pins.) He provided some super good suggestions. Loved the tacos. The slightly baked tortilla crust on the tacos was really good, along with everything inside. Definitely feel better when I eat the better quality ingredients from cafe rio. Great job guys 🙂 ¡Órale!

I’ve been a long time customer of Cafe Rio… probably 15+ years or so. In Vegas, I’ve always been satisfied with both food and customer service.

Waited for 1 customer to finish ordering. Never greeted. We were ignored until we turned to leave. Then was finally asked if they could help us. We walked out and went to Panda Express where they were HAPPY to serve us. There was plenty of staff on duty. They could have at least just said “we’ll be right with you “. But nothing was said till we left. Very Unhappy

I’ve only been here a dozen times, and wa h time it’s the same story, they are out of food or are ckosing early and have a limited menu. I won’t normally go into a restaurant 1 hour before closing. I cane into this restaurant 1 hr before close tonight and they have already pulled the food and are quick to advise of shirt menu. I understand we all get tired and want to go home, yet trying to guilt trip me for attempting g you stay in buisness. (My attempts, barely make a difference). It’s sad and depressing!!!

The employees are friendly. The food is good. A lot of the tables were dirty and there was not a lot of people there. Still enjoyed it!

We have dined at different café Rios all over Utah and now in mesquite. It has been a go to place of ours for years. Most of our experiences have been very favorable until we visited this location. We arrived at 7:15 pm on a Thursday night. The specialty drinks my family loves were not available at all, not ran out but just not even put out. Around the drink and utensils area was filthy and gross. This particular store is the dirtiest Cafe rio I have ever been in, and that was the lobby. I can’t imagine what the back area that customers aren’t allowed in looks like. Spoke to another person erson dining that was from utah as well and they agreed that it was filthy and they were very disappointed. Poor overall experience. I do not recommend.

This is honestly the BEST Cafe Rio location I have been to recently. The staff and manager were helpful, friendly and gave us big portions. I highly recommend this location. 🙂
