This was my first time at Cafe Rio. Similar to Chipotle, however the staff was much friendlier and the food was really good. The big negative for me was the cleanliness of the restroom. There was a large puddle of who knows what in the restroom stall and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the day before. Would’ve given five stars if it wasn’t for that.

We love this place. It’s just about a monthly go for us. This has to be the best Mexican food franchise there is. The burritos are amazing the quesadilla is outstanding. If you’re looking for an alternative to the typical fast food Mexican chain, this is it. Located all over the southwest but far fewer locations than the competition. So locate the one near you and give it a try and see if you agree.

After searching for somewhere to eat for quite a while, I ended up here. Due to being sick for the last week, I wanted some good food to help me regain my strength. I ordered an Enchilada Style Burrito, and two of their daily special Tacos. The service up to when I went to pay was decent, but quickly went to horrible.

Service was okay. Unfortunately my family got sick. We were traveling and wanted a hot meal. The rice wasn’t cooked fully. Nor the beans. The chicken was very dry. I normally do not do reviews but I had this time because we all got upset stomach’s. I was displeased. I hate to complain because I know these people work hard, as did I when I was working, and I know how hard it is to please everyone. I probably won’t eat there again. Please forgive me, I am tired though, I was up most of the night and I do have a long drive ahead

I have been going to Cafe Rio for many years, since they opened in Flagstaff. Quality has gone way downhill and prices almost doubled. Hardly any meat in my burrito maybe 1/3 cup. Food is good but not the quality it used to be for the price. I probably will not be back except to speak to the manager. I go there at least once every 2 weeks, but if I want a bean burrito for 15 bucks I will just go to taco bell.

I ordered online, they waited to make it because they said they were out of red sauce and asked if I would like a different one. I ordered green sauce, and told them the green is what I wanted. It took them 15min to put it together. There was one employee making food and 5 others slowly cleaning stuff or just wandering around. Very slow service for cafe Rio, when every thing is already made and there are 2 customers in the lobby it shouldn’t take that long. Thier focus on customers is lacking and no one seems to have a clear idea of what’s going on. That being said the food was good as usual but hoping thier team can run a little smoother next time.

I have been using cafe rio for a few years but it seems to be losing quality and becoming overpriced like most places these days. The chicken quesadilla was not good, the chicken was extremely dry to the point that some pieces felt like chewing cardboard.
